I will not go too much into details as it is against forum rules but it would be surprise me if this is orchestrated by disaster capitalists to destablize so they can come in and scoop up everything on the cheap. Not convinced? Look at what happened to Greece....

Actually, only the various different brands of communists we have in Greece don't care about JIhadists unleashing jihad on European soil.

We have way, way too many communists and leftists in Greece. Actually, according to a 2017 Survey by DIANEOSIS, 62.1% of the Greek population is Socialist, 58.8% Anti-Capitalist, 37.4% Leftist and 20.9% Communist.

I can assure you I care very much about Jihad and Jihadists and I can also assure you that I don't like them killing innocent Europeans in Europe like they have in France and elsewhere.

Yeah it has been discussed a long time about constructing housing for refugees in Greece and that was years ago. The situations has worsened since then and there is no let up or help from other EU nations.

Should've driven the mongrels back into the sea and thrown over the strong-arming nations, then. It's not like you're alone in your upset about this.

Older Greeks are not that fond of communists given the civil war that broken out post WWII. Still, I think Greek population has a distrust for disaster/vulture capitalists and also communists. In general, Greeks are like any other EU nation where socialism is openly accepted, but too much socialism is also what led to their current situation.

Of course we don't like them killing people, but on the other hand, why should we let them stay in our country when they want to go somewhere else and are legally entitled to do so? We aren't the ones forcing this crazy EU policy.

Security. Turkey & Co. would have destroyed this country three times over had we not been a member in the EU. I can't even number the times we have narrowly escaped being nailed by the Turks in the past 40 years or so.

Actually, PTISI, the country's oldest and most important defence publication just published a detailed analysis that explained what would have happened if the Turks had gone to war with Greece in 1996 over some islets in the Aegean Sea.

Ofc, war is not exactly linear, but Greece would have lost half her Navy and Airforce in less 12 hours as Turkey's F-16's outnumbered our own by 6 to 1.

Why so sexist toward men? Because we are born with a d!** we should go to war and die? This is middle age thinking. They fought to have a job like me and to be free like me and to be equal like me. Now since they are equal, they will wait in the same line as men in the queue for a better life.

Why should greece receive any help just because they're stupid enough to let them in and stay?

Oh no how can they be so racist and not take them in their houses, and lend their wives and daughters to them? Ugh it's 2018 not the 1400's.

It is hard to build a Trump wall around a country surrounded mostly by water. Also, most refugees that enter Greece and eventually go to the rest of Europe come from the western Asian countries that share borders with eastern Europe.

The EU hasn't done a good job of negotiating with these nations to slow down the flow of refugees.

And on a final point, Greece has carried the burden of war and economic refugees from the Balkan wars of the 90s, fall of communism in Eastern Europe leading into the 90s, Iraq war, Afghanistan war, Syria civil war, Libya war, etc.

Europe all of sudden wanting to take in refugees in a irresponsible manner when they ignored war and economic refugees heading to Greece for 30 years is very telling. The only reason why (Western) European nations all of sudden want refugees is because they know their social programs need more people to be taxed to keep it all running.
