I'm still pissed about what Blizzard did to the Nightborne with the Allied Races. They could just give them a different leader etc, it feels so wrong to have Thalyssra, Valtrois, Oculeth and Silgryn on the enemy side as an alliance player. How were they thinking?

All I ever wanted was for them to be the exact same as night elves with maybe different cosmetic options such as skin color and hair, but they fucked up their passive stance so badly.

The night elf female has one of the best models in the game for armor transmog. Almost everything looks good on them.
Switch to Nightborne and suddenly more than half of the same transmog looks trash because of their weird posture.
They gawk upwards as if they are little kids at a theme park.

All the other allied races are exact copies of the races their based on but Nightborne is a huge mistake imo.

I am sure you think that the Alliance represents America... (btw it is not America, it is the U.S.A.) But honestly, they represent Europe far better. And I might add that they do not even fully do so. I mean Draenei really do not fit to any EU country. They fit more with Indian/Russian. Dwarves... well Scottish accent? Worgen... UK? etc etc

And has the alliance ever done something like carpetbombing? Not to my knowledge. Has the horde...? But hey believe what you want to believe.

Um... the horde helped them too. Horde players helped them too. And the Blood elves were far more sympathetic to their plight than the alliance was, regardless of however kind your personal character was to them in your head.

So yeah, they didn't go to the 'enemy side'. They went to the faction with which they had more in common.
