It does say a January break in the article, I would assume they'd just start the season earlier.

Sixty years to the day today, still can only wonder what could have been, and how very different football's history might look now.

    Chelsea Fans?
We've been wanting a manager to bring through youth for ages.

Bakayoko had probably the worst game I've ever seen a player have.
He was booed because he was jogging around, being completely careless.

    Any club would do this.

"Busby Babes they always made me cry"

30 years before I was born and still it gets to me when I watch memorials or films about them.

So La Liga might suspend Pique for provocative behaviour. What? For subtly hinting that those cunts from Espanyol need to shut up? How about they start looking into the alleged racism towards Umtiti and "fans" wishing death to someone's kid.

Tebas can suck a giant chode.

This is why I hope that Chelsea doesn't once again ring Hiddink's doorbell; provided he still wants he's 71. Hiddink is a great crisis manager but not a guy you want when rebuilding a team and fitting in youngsters.

If Van Marwijk didn't sign for Australia I might've suggested him to be honest.

chelsea fans asking for a manager to bring through youth when they get fired so easily for not winning is hilarious

Are you suggesting Mourinho is good at introducing youth? Cause he isn't. But I agree with you that the insane pressure on managers to perform in some clubs is a huge obstacle to bringing in youth in the Premier League. Hence, they are mostly on loan, for example in the Dutch league, where they learn little to nothing.

By the way, I don't support any team in the PL.

Not sure if van Marwijk would be a good candidate for Chelsea, though his no-nonsense approach could work well. But he has little international experience, and if i remember correctly he didn't have that much success in the Bundesliga.

Watching highlights from the Chelsea match.

I don't normally judge how a man looks but my god... That Deeney is one ugly dude. Straight up looks like a neanderthal.

    Interesting stat

70.3% - Antonio Conte has the joint-best win rate of any manager in Premier League history (min 5 games), level with Pep Guardiola.

Marcus Rashford is really more Louis van Gaal's doing. I give you Lingard even tough at the age of 25.. well hardly youth. McTominay perhaps. Requires way more playtime. Pogba is already 24 and hardly Mourinho's doing.

Nobody would know George Best, probably.

Complete mind-fuck to try and get your head around nearly all of your squad being wiped out.

About the winter break; we could use an extended one in Scotland.

Most championship sides have shite pitches that freeze up at the first sign of snow.

Ronald Koeman is officially the new coach of Holland. Though this was already pretty much known for awhile.
