If you could use the heritage armor on all races, yeah I'd do it on every single allied race. But since you can't I'll just limit myself to another one (already done Void Elf). I've leveled every class to 110 before the changes and it was definitely a lot faster.
(And yes it FEELS faster at some points, but over the whole 20-110 it isn't. How it feels is irrelevant if my actual time invested is a lot more than before)

I do love that if I quest, I can now actually finish a zone without outleveling it and I can skip whole expansions. Great change, but as someone that mainly leveled with dungeons, it just got tedious. The dungeons didn't get harder, they're just longer. As a tank I can still pull a crazy amount and take barely any damage, the only difference is that the mobs take 5x as long to die making the whole leveling process longer.

Now if they increased the damage of the mobs so you actually require some knowledge of your class to keep pulling the way we did before, I'd be all in for that. Or just increase the dmg to match the hp and increase the exp gain to balance out the new "difficulty" and I'd be happy. But simply increasing hp didn't make anything more difficult though.

Although it feels like I wouldn't level another character, ever, again after I hit 110 with this one as leveling goes quite slow and its dreading from time to time.

I haven't leveled anything since wotlk I'd say, I had 3 alts during vanilla and tbc and then created 1 more character during wotlk but thats it really. Now revisiting some zones and seeing what cataclysm has done to them (I mean from 20-60 leveling) is cool. Would I do it with another alt? No.

tl;dr : So would you level a second character to 110 in 7.3.5?
Hell no. I leveled my Void Elf "legit" (i.e didn't get dungeon boosted by a friend) and it was painful as hell.
There's no way I'm gonna leveling a Lightforged Draenei.

The fact that I have every class at 110 doesn't help.

I just finished my nightborne priest yesterday at 110 and not really hyped on redoing that shit for a while.

I didn’t want to and now that I have I realise that it was just as bad as I feared it was. Fortunately whilst leveling my void elf from 100-110 I found a way to avoid questing altogether, so it shouldn’t be a problem from now on. Well... until my method likely no longer works in BfA any who.

Level 60-80 is absolutely horrible due to it being home to the most outdated quests and mechanics in the entire game, not to mention being painfully slow. I hope Outland and Northrend are made completely optional at some point in the future by making the old world scale to 80.

100-110 was almost unbearable due to burnout caused by being in those butt ugly zones for several years, thankfully I was able to skip it.

Also lol@ everyone who says it’s not braindead anymore. All it did was make mass pulling anything over 5 mobs inadvisable. Everything else is the same as it was for the most part.
8/30/16 to 2/9/18 Less than 18 months. "Several years." Yeah, another Aeula whine post.
The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.

Leveled my 55 sheman to 57 on redridge. By gods I'd rather eat my own ass than level to 60 like I intended. Agroing even one extra mob was dangerous and mobs have giant health pools. I had full looms and blues in every slot leftover from the invasions.

Yeah i'll probably level a void elf after my highmountain is done, but I'm in no rush so depends on how long 7.3.5 ends up being.

Dude, i leveled 6 or 7 characters to 110 and i am top 10 healing M+ with 2 of them. Get a grip - this expansion is awesome!

All you need for 100-110 is the ConsLegion addon and a switch off button for your brain, piece of cake.

Why does the 'yes' option have the added implication that you'll only do it for the sets?

Not set in stone, but I am currently having a lot of fun leveling my highmountain shaman. So probably yeah?

Going to level a Zandalari druid for sure since it's the only class I'm missing.

The leveling speed (amount of XP gained) sure slowed things down. But it's nowhere close to how grindy it used to be pre-cata. Leveling in Vanilla, tbc and wotlk really took alot amount of time (not that bad in wotlk if XP heirloom chest and shoulder).

We just got used to being able blaze through 1-60 in a day or two (possibly three), the dungeons were actually a good way to level. Dungeons just used to be good if you wanted some Xp boost by a friend or get some blue gears for questing.

Sadly, the Zandalari looks too good. I will probably level it up cause of heritage armor (pretty sure they get one i reckon).

I leveled 2 to 70 so far. 1-60 was the best part because that had lots of new quests for me.
I'd level further chars if it was needed. Scaling is great.

Considering one of the Metrics of their Earnings call was how long people spend daily in their games. It's very likely the speed of leveling won't be reduced again at any point soon.

SO very unlikely to level anything for a long time from low level.

the experience would be much smoother if they let us lvl in the old world to 80.

but noooo, outland and northrend are a fucking pain in the ass.

I plan to level at least one character of every Allied Race to get heritage armour. I don't know how fast I will manage that, because I have other things to do in the game, and in RL. I was thinking about buying boosts, but with the current situation, I will not do this, neither with gold, nor with cash. I'd rather wait and see if they probably change the situation sometimes later. It's not like they have not lessened the amount of XP per level before.

This whole thing stinks of a cash grab.

Of course it's not tough, but OMG it just takes so long. It's mind-numbing, and this is quite a shame, because games should not be this way. I miss pre-legion invasion event, and bonus XP potions.

60-80 was absolutely horrible. So much that I'm just booting up an old account that I used with RAF and have a character in just to run him through ramparts for that batch of levels for my other toons. The 15 bucks is worth skipping it.

Outside of that, it's totally fine. 20-60 doesn't zoom by anymore, but it's enjoyable for the most part. 80-90 feels the same as 20-60, but with flying so it's better than that batch of levels on that alone. 90-101 is insanely fast. Then there's Legion.
