Unhappy You guys are complaining too much about the new leveling.

I've seen many posts complaining about how the new leveling system makes leveling take too long or mobs are too difficult.
Yeah, sure, I can fully agree that there are a few quirks in the system, some level brackets are quite hard and some are really easy etc.
That said, leveling doesn't take too long, not at all...

It took me less than 60 hours game time to level from 20 to 110 on my Void Elf Shadow Priest.
    What I had/did:
    - I did nothing but solo questing (except for WoD)
    - I had a full set of heirlooms, including two rings
    - I had all types of flying
    - In WoD I used the Garrison exp pot along with flying to pick up treasures and do the occasional Bonus Objective
    - In Legion I got to do one Invasion before reaching max level

So I basically did no grinding, glitching, or exploiting.
I'm not saying that it doesn't take longer than it did before the patch, but it still doesn't take TOO long, this is still some of the fastest leveling we've had since the game first launched.
It also feels like a breath of fresh air to do quests again, rather than spamming dungeon queues non-stop, and being able to stay in a zone until you feel like you're done with it is great, and also reduces travel time a lot.

I don't enjoy questing, I wanna dungeon spam, I don't play this game for quests, never have, and I never will either. I do whats needed to get flying, whilst watching porn or other entertainment.

People that quest are happy, people that gives 0 cares about lore, and just wanna get it done with, enjoys dungeons more as I feel like I'm doing something. How hard is it to understand?

Guess I should also say 60 hours to get level cap is awfully slow, my record in WOD was 36 hours, and I can do 100 to 110 in 5-6 hours depending on class flat.

you have to admit 60 hours compared to the 22 hours it took before 7.3.5 is still a long time, when some people only have 1 hour to 2 hours a night, 3-4 times a week tops.

before it may have been hard for some to lvl, but now it is just outright rediculous for some people to lvl.

I'm quite certain it didn't take 22 hours before with just dungeons. That said, I can agree that dungeons are currently overtuned and should be adjusted to be a viable option to gain experience.
I also don't expect people that have 3-8 hours a week to level every class either. If you have that little time you probably have more than enough to do on just one or two characters.

If you have only 2 hours maybe a MMORPG isnt your game? 2 hours means you don't have time even for your main so no point in turbolevelling alts if you can't play them, also you have like 6 month to do all.

the new questing is fine and having to press more than one button to kill a mob is just healthy for the game

Yeah, one can definitely level faster than I did.
I may be an experienced leveler, but I took my time and wanted to just enjoy questing again.

Time is relevant, i have done all this stuff 10 times before, i dont want to do it again, making me do it from 20 hours to 60 hours is bad, simple as that.

The new player might have fun, but as example apart from 2 classes, the rest of my alts are level 100.

Firstly, why would i level again? Sure, not to pay race change.

Secondly, i have done all those quests before, why would i want to go over it repeatedly and in slow motion cause someone else thinks its a good idea?

Thats why leveling changes are bad.

I tanked a Stratholme run on my 44 warrior with nothing but white gear, didn't seem overtuned to me. Group was amused.

Yeah why would we complain ? A new casual player wanting to give a try will buy WoW, spend 1 month leveling, and will likely leave before reaching level 110 (or 120 in BfA).

    Where is the problem ?

I agree the changes are for the better, but this is forums so what do you expect?

Re-subbed out of curiosity; first time since Sept 2015. A little bit slower than what I remember, but, seems perfectly fine.

    If anything, too fast.

Started a HM Tauren warrior the other day. In 4-5 hours I completed all the quests in Azshara, ran 1 dungeon (SM) and 1 Crown Chemical CO and am now at level 37. Gained 1 full level from the dungeon and it took 15-20 minutes.

So 17 levels in 4-5 hours does not seem like a lot to me. Nor did I feel at any point in questing or dungeon that something is overtuned.

Oh, I can agree that leveling can become repetetive, believe me, I've done it 30 times myself.
That said, I wouldn't fault that on the base system, instead I'd fault that on the lack of leveling speed increases for those who already have leveled a bunch of times. While Heirlooms do serve that purpose, they don't grant nearly enough experience to make up for this being your nth alt, I'm all for some kind of "Veteran" system for this exact scenario.

Making it slower when theres more levels to grind out than ever before is retarded as fuck.
I've done it many times before, I've seen all this stuff over and over and over.

You're insane if you think leveling an alt should take more than the equivalent of 2 full week of work hours.
You can get so much more done PvPing in that time frame or raiding.
