- Bring back currencies : Honor for regular arena/bg, Conquest for weekly 3v3 / 2v2 OR RBG (Not all at once. People don't like doing 2v2, or 3v3, or RBG)
- Buyable piece of gear with chosen stats. Each part is the classic stamina/intel (For exemple), and 2 stats. Basically, each part have different variations of stats (mastery, haste, crit, versa. Gear will be mastery/crit, mastery/haste, mastery/versa, haste/crit etc etc...) that you can choose = more customization, something that lacks a lot in PvP. If i want to have a full mastery set, fine. The other guy next to me can prefer going full haste, it's his choice. It might sounds stupid, but having an "armory" like type of building for PvP where you can buy different part of your gear (Like in the tournament realm) is not that... weird considering it's "Alliance vs Horde" theme.
- I know they want to remove sets, but i think it's needed in PvP. Buyable part of the gear should be at 7 parts. Helm, shoulders, chest, hands, legs, and the 2 trinkets. (Trinkets had a bad history of "WTF" in PvP. Remember Wotlk, Cata, MoP). The entire set is only for the 7-part bonus : making it mandatory for PvP. It can be something like "Increase damage and healing done to PvP players by 15% in PvP situations, reduce damage and healing done by 15% on PvE encounter. Give me access to [Insert a PvP spell that your class desperatly need.]".
- Rating should be a thing again with gear. I would love to see 3 tier of PvP gear for one season. Let's take this season as an example. You can have ilvl 950 max as PvP now. (If we forgot the rng titan forging shit thing). 965 by doing ONE +15.
The 3 tiers would be something like that :
--- "BG tier" : A buyable-by-everyone gear with Honor (and all the rest), let's say, equal ilvl than the current PvE tier. (Normal Antorus for example, 930?)
--- Gladiator Tier : A buyable-with-rating tier with Honor and a few Conquest points, recolor of the first one, slightly higher ilvl (+10). Each of the 7 parts have 1 socket on it - i'll explain later. (Rating variation might be the Wotlk type of rating : 1500 : hands | 1600 : legs (and all the rest) | 1700 : chest | 1800 : helm | 1900 : trinkets | 2000 : shoulders
--- Elite Gladiator Tier : A buyable-with-rating tier with full Conquest points, and different skin. (Ilvl +10 again, so, 950.). This time, with 2 sockets each (Not on trinkets). 2100 : hands | 2200 : legs (and all the rest -elite appearance) | 2300 : chest+trinkets | 2400 : helm | 2500 : shoulders.
+ "All the rest" mean the non-set gear : rings, cloak, belt etc... (The neck will be the new Artefact thing)
+ Once buy, you can buy it at half price with your alt. Or you own character, if you want to change your build.
Sockets can be filled with "PvP gems", which are buyable for Honor, once again, have any possible stats, and only work in PvP. I think reforging was awesome and and remove it in PvP is a bad idea, so, i had this idea of replacement for customization.
Resume : If you want to PvP, you'll need the PvP set, if you want to PvE, the PvE one. You can customize it with the stats, you have incentives to progress (More ilvl, more customization, transmogs.) with rating, PvE can have his importance for the other parts, but not as crucial as i looks.
And voilà.
