To each their own. I don't think it's an ugly model by any means. Something about the model feels like it's a youthful Ysera from millennia ago more so than the ancient, wise lady dragon we've known in WoW. The coloration of her top feels out of place to me, but again, to each their own.

I think a youthful and innocent personality fits Ysera, and sets her apart from being "green Alexstrasza". The Emerald Dream is supposedly this calm piece of paradise that she's been living in for most of her life, and it's only because of the Nightmare that she's experienced fear and death.

So I'm fine with this clearly dryad inspired design.

I agree about the white elements of the armor, a different shade of green or brown would have probably looked better.

Iirc, it's closer to being a 'spirit form' as she is connected to the Dream, and thus cannot die unless she is killed in the Dream, very much like demons and the Twisting Nether. That fact is what enabled Cenarius to take form on Azeroth again as well.

So, who knows? Maybe we'll see her again some point in the future but I think Blizz are done with the Aspects for now.

Honestly, I prefer the digital painting original over the 3D model. It just looks sharper, which I prefer over the pastelesque 3D rendering.

Some people in the community think she is, because she humanoid-forms into a female gnome, but her full name is Chronormu, and we know in the Bronze Dragonflight that a -u final is the signifier for a male dragon.

The options are thus as follows:

1. Chromie is a drag queen.
2. Chromie is female but identifies as male (hence male name); ergo, trans female to male.
3. Chromie is male but identifies as female (hence female gnome humanoid appearance); ergo, trans male to female.

Chromie is confirmed to be a female and doesnt follow the naming rules..
