Thanks for the comedy, but if you really want change, it starts from the top.
No if you want to change the world you start with yourself, once you've sorted yourself out then you can worry about sorting out the world. Because once you can do that you come from a place on competence. To change things from the top you need to put yourself in a position to be at the top. Once there you will hopefully see things are not all black and white and there are reasons people haven't made the decisions you seem to thing are so obvious in your youth.

this is not the american way stupid school kids, they should be protesting for guns for high school students, this will allow them to defend themselves.

no-one is going to shoot up a school if there are 500 armed people in the school DUH!

but when 2 kids get into a fight at school and 1 gets his ass kicked so uses a gun kills the other then his friend kills him as revenge so the teacher has to kill that kid, oh well that's another problem for another day!

They are kids they don't even know the laws on the books. To think that more laws will fix the issue is silly when the laws we have are not being enforced and the agencies we put in place to protect us are not following up on leads. Fix the current laws and law enforcement first, then we can talk about passing new laws.

Maybe they should lead protests against Mental Illness. As that will likely be just as useless.

Change Starts from the Top. It always have and always will be.

Who rules everything? The Adults. Not Teens. Protesting also has worked in the past. And it has brought real change in Society.

Yes, and we do that because teens are idiots, your brain doesn't even stop developing until you are 25. If we listened to kids and teenagers the world would be a disaster. Grow and learn get the experience of life then come back and try to change the world.

Gun Control is a current Law. More Laws do in fact fix issues and have done so in the past.

That Rule does not apply for everybody. It also doesn't mean they are dumb in fact some are smarter then plenty of Adults.

Also by your definition, Adults would be idiots because they would stop Developing.

No it wouldn't especially if they're smart about what they say and have the knowledge to back up there opinions.

I have a feeling you are young and think your smarter than you actually are. Anyone who has lived a life will tell you there where a idiot in their youth. And I'm not talking about book smarts or ability to learn. I'm talking about the ability to read data and make decisions. These abilities only come with time and experience. To think High School and College students are smarter than the generation that came before them is silly that is just the naivety of youth. All generations make mistakes but on the whole they make decisions that are correct. Its why you have electricity at the moment. If we didn't use knowledge with wisdom the world would become chaotic.

    we're all dumb.

history showed us that banning things made things worse. banning alcohol and drugs raised violent and organized crime.

their knowledge is flawed, they think that gun violence and school shootings are on the rise, they are merely suffering from an emotional outburst ignoring historical facts these things are already on the decline and not an increasing epidemic.

Sorry but no, I've talked to very Intelligent teens. But apparently you have a bias to only focus on the idiots.

And some kids are able to read data and make wise decisions. Yes some do come with time and experience. What do you think happens when somebody shoots down your friends? That's called Developing.

its is extremely sad situation. students need to be addressing all school problems. from sexual assault, bullying, disrespect towards teachers, teacher not giving a rats ass, teachers not teaching but instead instilling beliefs, the American public education system needs completely overhauled. for being a "superpower" and world "leader" we are ranked 27th in the world in education. our economy and education should be priority one, bud sadly its only spoken of when tragedies happen.

It's Gun Control not a ban.
We have Alchohol and Drug control but little to no Gun Control.

No, IT IS on the rise and has been. You're completely normalizing this. Already on a Decline? You call this a Decline?

Doesn't matter pro 2nd amendment people will always out number them. You need a lot of votes to overturn the constitution and it will mobilize the right wing base every single one of them will be voting there is also lots of democrats who are pro gun. One of my friends is hardcore Bernie Bro and will never give his guns up no matter what.

Some Democrats are pro Gun but not Anti-Gun Control like most republicans on this issue.

I don't take the protests of Kids that have never actually lived outside of their Parents houses seriously. Until people actually experience the real world their input on what the government should do remains Zero.

Right, because having their school shot up isn't "experiencing the real world" so their input on gun related issues should be zero...

Do you wish to actually list what those are? or are you just shouting buzzwords? Just saying "things" means very little
