You know, I "love" the whole, "give the victims time to grieve, don't politicize the tragedy by calling for more gun control laws!" rhetoric. You know what that tells me?

"If we can get enough people to give victims time to grieve, the media will eventually drop the tragedy from topic #1 and we won't actually have to talk about the problem!"

So basically, "lets never talk about the problem because the problem keeps happening and we can once again tell people to give the victims time to grieve."

and this concept kind of makes me laugh at the farthest left. I'm very liberal and I can see the irony in the anti-police protests combined with 'police should be in schools to save people' and how banning guns basically means the only people who should have guns are the police according to that line of thinking. Banning all guns won't do shit. We need good police trained to patrol school (like 2 for most smaller schools) and we need much better medical help for mental health. All people who are mentally ill are not automatically violent but deserve our help as a society. We also need to make our police and the FBI much better at taking the threats seriously that he supposedly posted everywhere.

When the victims actually use their grieving time to be loud and voice their opinion, the victims suddenly become "emotional and should be disregarded". It is sad how fast people will turn on their go to excuse the moment it isn't usable anymore.

A) Emergencies that require you to get to point A to point B quicker than a normal car would allow. B) Travel requirements that aren't able to be completed by normal commercial travel options. C) Cops are (supposedly) trained to react at a much higher level than a normal citizen.

You can literally come up with useful reasons for any of the others while the gun one is "lol to shoot stuff" or mow down crowds of people, literally nothing else.
