It won't end.
Because Warcraft.
Because the faction war is the root of the game.

Bruh, most of those chicks are guys.
I don't particularly like the poll options, but yeah I want the faction war to be over already. It's tired and to mee just kind of represents a strange hangup the lore has about moving on and progressing Azeroth's story past Red vs Blue. Alliance and Horde should never be friends, but the excitement of fighting the other side is kinda lost when you know that neither side can be truly defeated and continue the game's story.
Even worse when you know the Alliance playerbase is too sensitive to even accept a huge lore defeat.
There will be a clear winner but we will still have the factions, we will just be able to PvE together, it has been written in the stars for a while. We will all agree on an ultimate truce.

Well there is a theory going on that WoW is really just a huge social experiment now, think of how insane that kind of data would be, the unifying of two super powers in a simulation and the fallout within the community.
Each sides completely dominates one continent (Kalimdor for Horde, Eastern Kingdoms for Alliance) which will lead to an intense and extensive cold war, leading to explosive technological development, eventually a space race and continuation of the conflict in space. People think they want WoW2, what they really need is WoW40K!
This is basically just a "what faction are you" thread.
But either way, Alliance has always been the "main" faction of the series, while Horde has been more of a playable antagonist. If any faction ever were to ultimately triumph, it would be the Alliance.
No, war isn't going away from WARcraft, maybe the Faction will eventually (remote future) change, but the war will stay.
I have no idea what purpose this poll serves.
And the faction war won't go away completely. Maybe it will be the last major war, but skirmishes will continue to happen, after all that has happened, and will happen, there's no way every single character will suddenly forget everything like it never happened. Or atleast they shouldn't, the last thing I want is for the Horde to suddenly have shaky knees over the power of friendship thanks to Anduin.
If I HAD to pick, I would choose Alliance over the Horde for dominating the Alliance. Despite loving Horde and them being my main I believe the Alliance would be better suited for ruling over all of Azeroth. However I would much rather have the Horde live in Kalimdor/Broken Isles and the Alliance live in the Eastern Kingdoms. Only problems with this is that the blood elves wouldn't want to lose the sunwell, and the night elves would probably hate losing their home/surrounding area.
Yeah sure buddy. Because Varian didn't get a heroic 5 minute death scene while Vol'jin was stabbed mostly off-screen. And the main hero of this expansion definitely wasn't a Night Elf, and the whole new class built around him and night elves in particular. Oh, and we didn't fly around in a Draenei spaceship, and fought alongside a Human and High Elf near the end.
Nope, that all definitely stopped a long time ago.
That's a deception of sort. In reality, I'm waiting especially you, Mr. Lock-It.
Oh boy, is that your argument? Besides the fact that you apparently don't know what "off-screen" means, Varian's send off was the one and last, while we know Vol'jin's story isn't over yet since the last year's Blizzcon.
That being said, how the hell this has anything to do with being a supposedly "playable antagonist"? It's avoiding to shift the goalposts that much of a titanic effort?
Holy crap, Legion was leaning towards the Alliance side (despite all the Alliance players denying that) incredible, who would have thought. But I wonder what happened to all of that during the previous expansions in which a swarm of Alliance players kept whining about HORDE BIAS and Horde favoritism. And the main hero of this expansion definitely wasn't a Night Elf, and the whole new class built around him and night elves in particular. Oh, and we didn't fly around in a Draenei spaceship, and fought alongside a Human and High Elf near the end.
Well your point shifted from unconvincing to outright funny in the space of one post, that may be a new record around here.Nope, that all definitely stopped a long time ago.
