Harpoon guns as an alternative armament for law enforcement.
Why not Issue hand held harpoon guns with lines to law enforcement? An officer could then shoot the perpetrator in the limb (hopefully avoiding major vessels) and fasten the line to the cruiser or a tree and move onto the next perp. Vehicle mounted larger harpoon guns for those lengthy chases. What do you think?
P.S.: Topic inspired by many gun control and fat shaming topics of this evening.
