< Gun - to be safe from pirates???
< Phone - because somehow you have coverage???
Is your deserted island by any chance not deserted at all? Let alone an island??
If you knew the candle was fire then the meal was cooked a long time ago.
1. a book or something to help me not be bored to death
2. something to help me got those delicious bananas down
3. a sleeping bag or something so I don't have to lie in the sand.
Some girl I recently developed a crush on, if I am gonna be stranded on an island I'd love some company I am actually fond of.
Knife, bandages and a pot for cooking
My brother would be good company and he goes camping so him I guess.
Why bring a person you don't know? Is the assumption that they'd engage with you in a sexual manner or something? I guess I'll bring someone I know, or at least hope, would be acceptable company...
1. Toiler paper
2. A tablet fully stocked on show episodes and movies for evening/nights
3. A solar charger
Coyote Peterson. He'd probably bring a tent or 2 and conversation topics would always be easy to find during daytime.
Realistic Situation I would use these Items:
A good knife. Going to want to cut open that fruit, make tools. Slice up things for shelter.
Hygiene/Toiletries - A couple backs of Baby Wipes can help clean things and you up if needed.
First Aid Kit - I'm a Klutz, I'll need this.
Person - Someone who teaches Survival Skills. Or at least knows something about it. Like Cody Lundin or something.
Unrealistic
Large Solar Panel with Hookups
Cell Phone with charge Cable
Pillow
Person - I'll break the Norm and say a happy puppy or dog. Sometimes dealing with a Dog is much easier then dealing with a Person.
Sleep in the shade of the Panel while waiting rescue and eating fruit. Playing some games to kill time. Vacation mode activate.
So the image used is the literal island in this hypothetical? That's inconsistent and a misdirection from the wrongness of your assertion.
A number of deserted islands house animals that can be used as food or might pose a danger. Google reveals rabbits, pigs, boars, sea turtles, seals, birds, rats, alligators, crocodiles, large lizards, snakes, spiders and monkeys of all kinds inhabit deserted islands from the Caribbean to the Pacific.
edit. nvm I saw their sad little posts...

Not really. You and others appear to be thinking this scenario is grounded in reality. The very premise is fantasy. When engaging in fantasy I tend to give myself the best time possible. I don't sit in the corner, clean my gun and dare some hot chick to invade my safe place.

1) A nice tent
2) A lighter
3) A good book. Can I bring more than one book? Does a "bag of books" count as 1 item?
And my one friend who could probably turn half-ripe bananas and coconuts into a goddamned culinary Mona Lisa.
Easy peasy.
I'd bring my Nintendo Switch, a tent and toilet paper. As for company I'd want someone interesting. I think Bruce Campbell would be cool to have around.
