Because my age is irrelevant as to whether it's fine to have sex with someone that's 15 or not. 15 is the age of consent in Sweden, a 60 year old could have sex with a 15 year old if they want to, without any penalties.

16 is the age of consent in the vast majority of US states as well.

Someone at the age of 20 can easily be manipulated/influenced. Should we set the age of consent above 20? What about 30? People at that age can still be manipulated/influenced. Set it to above 30?

If the applicable law says that a 15 year old is legally capable to decide who to have sex with, that is their right. It does in some circumstances but it’s more prevalent in people aged 14-18 to protect youth who are consenting to sex. It creates a safety net so youth can’t be exploited. But in terms of an adult being exploited by a person in a position of power over them it’s much harder to prove in court than a youth for obvious reasons.
