The changes in BFA will be the dream of people who like serious fights in worldpvp and a nightmare for the gank scum.
I welcome these changes.
About time you don't have to worry about some 6+ Mio HP dude waiting ouside of the argus camps to oneshot the 2-3 mio hp people who want to finish argus and get some gear. When you log onto your 6,5 Mio hp unbuffed antigank machine they instantly disappear.

Good people can only win with these changes.

world pvp can go die in a fire. The oposite faction only ever attacks you if they know they will beat you due to massive gear difference, class advantage or that they have ways to pussy out like rogues and druids.

World pvp was a thing in classic before battlegrounds. Players would seek the other faction out and start a fight that could very well end with a huge faction war.

Back then players of equal level could very well start a fight.

These days its 110s just ganking lower lvl players, like in STV and duskwood. In my guild there are lots of people who started leveling allied races(including me) who just had to leave duskwood and STV just because max lvl horde would fly down, 1 shot you and fly off. If some 110 alliance came along, the horde 110s would just fly away.

Im all for some fun world pvp out in the open world, but thats against someone at my level. I dont see the point in killing low lvl players over, and over, and over again.

The problem is that there's zero Skill involved in World PvP. The itemlvl gaps are just too big and some specs are completely broken.
At least they adjusted some legendaries in PvP situations.

I always loved the "I moved to a pvp server willingly to be with friends, but I *HATE* pvp, so change it to suit me!!" attitude.

1. using art to try and coney yourself is cringy.
2. the face just screams like "im gunna rape you" pshycopath from some weird anime. like its trying too hard, like even DIO BRANDO! did not pull faces like that...
3. that hes shirtless makes it all the more creepy.
4. the text is just yeah you are right out saying "we are toxic and we know it, cater to us"
5. it just looks like some creepy thing from dragonball fan charecter with the gettup, art style and such. i have ALOT of art of my charecter, but i try to avoid that kinda stuff. Specially overly naked stuff.

i think something akin to repeatable quests, like world quests, that require X player kills. Put them in only so many zones a day, credit only goes to kills that grant honor to discourage lowbie farming. It wouldn't fix it, but may get likeminded people in the same zone to molest each other. I don't think it would take much effort, even if they made it zone wide, just funnel people into a zone with a reasonable reward and things should spark up a little.

i started my char in February 2k5 , hoping in a big RPG, based on PvP faction interaction among players. something like Daoc.

PvPing while leveling for level 60 in Vanilla with my friend vs other guilds parties is one of my best memories.

then Tarren Mill Zerg with server/lag problems came.

then they opened Molten Core, and bye bye faction based world pvp game. welcome to the farm-land of PvE e-penis.

Maybe i am the wrong here btw.

I still love outdoor PvP , even if it has been destroyed last expasions. Still World PvP is something of small niche.

The server unifications and the "just" /pvp for world pvp that BfA will introduce is ok for me.

What I hate the most about this kind of threads is that it "assumes" something, in this case: that people don't do world PvP, while in fact if I am walking around on my ally alt on my horde dominated server, I always get jumped by anyone that I find along the way
