Orcs are supposed to be pretty gifted with magic given their titanic origins - the Azeroth ones did pick it up pretty well after they started trying.
when Grom "recruit" the gorian empire into the iron horde, one of the rules was the ogres to teach the orcs the arcane ways, if the devs didn't forget about this, mages is a go to go option

"Consultation with the spirits of previous generations was considered essential to Shadowmoon shaman whenever an important decision was to be made. Talismans and other relics that were important to an ancestor during life provided a more clear spiritual conduit for shamans to speak to them in the afterlife."

"Traditional armor worn by shamans of the clan."... See the image at the bottom of the page... the SHAMAN CLOTH SET THAT"S LINKED IN THIS THREAD!

They utilized Shadowform for the Shadowmoon Clan, because it SAVES DEVELOPMENT TIME, but all of the lore has them as... wait for it... SHAMANS. Their SHAMANS communed with the dead, guided the tribes, watched over the burial rights of their people, and looked to the heavens for guidance. They were SHAMANS... not PRIESTS. You... wishing for orc priests... doesn't change the fact that the Shadowmoon NPCs were SHAMANS.
I think they are using Shaman in the sense of "tribal spiritual leader" not in the sense of the WoW class. The fact that it says the Shaman looked to the heavens for guidance (instead of the elements) sort of cements this to me. It makes more sense to refer to the spiritual leaders of orcs as shaman than priests, even if the powers they are calling upon belong to the Priest class in WoW, not the Shaman class.

Wasn't the reason that Orcs were not given Priests as a class in WoW because they had the healing bit covered by the Shaman? It was one of their major flavor ideal things.

But these are Orcs from another time and in some respects another place. Times Change, and these at orcs that didn't go through the 35 years the green orcs had to endure, and took another path. A path that may still have Shaman with them, but could also have other tricks since they seem to have distanced themselves even farther away from the Shadow Council and their Warlocks. Instead of shifting to the Fel, they shifted to the Void when pushed...and Necromancy.

Ner'zhul was a shaman, not a priest, Kargath and Kilrogg were both warriors. And Gul'dan turned green after becoming a warlock, so he doesn't count.

What if the Draenei on this Draenor taught the Orcs the ways of the Light and they got Paladins?
