Poll: Will every race have perfect posture from now on?

Question Will every race have perfect posture from now on?

Not a big deal or something I'm actually worried about; just something I was musing about with guild mates tonight. With more and more races getting straight back options, will anyone still play the old versions? And if not, are we losing anything? Was there something iconic about the way those races used to look that anyone will miss?

Poll incoming, but may take me a minute to think what all the response-options should be.

I am pretty happy with the straight back orc option. But so long as the option remains for players to play the older versions I don't think its necessary that big of an issue. The straight backs fix a lot of issues with armor clipping and tabards.

Trolls, if you count Zandalari, and data-mined pics of Forsaken.

I don't see why everyone should change to new races. For example I am a dwarf, and I like standard dwarf much more than the new allied ones

    Poll is multiple choice, btw.

Worgen would look less goofy if they had better posture.

From the perspective of RP servers, then some would still be hunch backed.

Only the female worgens that really need a makeover.

I am sticking with Darkspear for one, and a Zandalari for the other.

But for non-Rp'ers indeed, that would be a question.

For RP'ers, you can't act like a Darkspear and look like a Zandalari.

Touche. I didn't account for RP. Literally only reason I could see, all other things being equal.

Preferences. Opinions. I would never roll Zandalari hunter for example.

If you don't use something that's still available to you, do you actually lose it? No. Unless you want others to play hunchbacks for your entertainment.
But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Yeah I think so. Blizzard will probably move away from the grotesquely out of proportion race models that barely even worked 10 years ago when the game was played on like 3 pixel screens.

Hopefully to balance this out, taurens/worgens/any animal-looking-creature will be given the option of extra-hunch backs, to the point where they will have to walk on 4 legs.

I like this option better then simply a button to use old textures (as that's only visible locally), this actually is represented choice visible to other players as well.

In the end, if it leads to more model varations/player choice/customization I am all for it.

They've already destroyed much of what undead were in the first place so I wouldn't even care if they force everyone to play straight-backed models.
Already race changed 12 characters from UD.

Okay, but I want crooked Draenei now.

So long as they're just options (which they obviously will be) it's fine. I think the Darkspear troll hunch is pretty iconic though and they shouldn't have an upright option. Upright worgen would be a nice option when the new models come around.

I Will be sticking to normal trolls and maybe roll one Zandalari. My orc is definitely getting his back fixed though.

And the "data mined" undeads with straight backs are only straight as a bug, as soon as you make them do anything they go straight back to being hunched over.
