PSA Alpha testers - Check your screenshotQuality CVar

This ones for the Alpha testers reading MMO Champion. I'm putting this in a separate thread so it gets some notice.

Looks like Alpha's reset a ton of console variables people may be used to using.

Two big ones are ones that effect what format your screenshots are in and what quality they are.

So go to World of Warcraft Beta (where ever you have it installed) -> WTF

and open config.wtf in a text editor.

Make sure you have this line -

SET screenshotQuality "10"

If you have a line with screenshotQuality and it's set to something else other then 10 set it to 10. This will ensure you are taking screenshots of the best quality wow can do.

Also -

SET screenshotFormat "tga"

This will change the format to the lossless TGA format.

NB - Not sure if these cVars are support on Mac sorry.

Mac can make PNG screenshots instead of TGA, which is a better format anyway!
