Why would they want to keep him alive in a Russian jail instead of ending his life? I can't imagine why Putin would want to torment someone, at all. I can't imagine how killing someone who was thought to be safe would send any kind of message. Hmmmmmm . . . I wonder how that would make others feel that are supposedly safe.

Are you seeing a lot of MSN material? Why are you reading just one source? You should really examine more than one avenue of information when addressing topics that are far beyond your critical thinking level. Seriously, take a look at what Fox is saying - they are a fantastically unbiased source now that they fired their openly racist editor.

Trump's lawyer said putin hired some pornstar? Lol ok buddy
Again, you need to look up analogy. Putin/assassination vs Trump/NDA. Work with me a little here.

You could have sent the same message, after the election. Dead is dead.

Ok, I'm done with you, puting you on ignore, not worth my time talking to someone of your...caliber...

There's plenty of posters that I despise that aren't on ignore, cuz u have to at least be able to make basic logic, which you seem incapable of doing.

Oh those lucky folks. I hope someday to reach your standard of logic and reasoning - dreaming big!

Give us a shout if you learn what an analogy is - the grown up table is always looking for more peeps.

They were prescient and knew about FBI arrests in 2010 when they imprisoned him in 2004?

In December 2004, Skripal was arrested in Russia and charged with "high treason in the form of espionage", and was convicted. Prosecutors initially argued for fifteen years in prison. Skripal was eventually sentenced to thirteen, in recognition of his poor health and the fact that he co-operated with investigators.

In July 2010, Skripal, along with three other Russian nationals imprisoned for espionage, was pardoned and released as part of a spy exchange for the ten Russian agents arrested in the United States as part of the Illegals Program,[14][15][16] after being pardoned by the then President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev

Dude. The "it's all fake news!" line is ridiculous when the news has almost never been fake regarding this stuff. Provably true 99% of the time, even. This kind of stuff is yet another example of the bizarrely common, bizarrely stupid, way of thinking that needs to stop. It is flat earth level of absurdity and it's crazy that we live in a world so abundant with knowledge and learning and yet it's become an absolute war to stop the ignorance from spreading like an epidemic.

    Election season ennit.

'Every Russian knows that when power changes hands, the chinovniki, the bureaucrats, suddenly stir to action like a hornet’s nest with frightening zeal. They want to justify their jobs to their new bosses — and that usually involves finding and catching some “enemies.” So the smart Russians lay low during those months of power transition.'

Some strange shit about this Skripal and his home life. His wife and kids could still come and go to Russia as they pleased and he might have an 'buisness' still in Russia. This smells of organised crime with a state element.

For the state to directly kill Skripal like this doesn't make much sense to me, do they really have nothing to lose. Its age old spy game that when you trade spies you leave them alone afterwards otherwise there won't be swaps in the future because you can't trust the deal. This does seem much more like organised crime to me so far until we get more details.

Do you think he was the one who ratted out those 10 (among 300 he exposed) to be later exchanged for them?

...hmm, i'm pretty sure we do know who did that and that was different guy currently in US.

He's a brainwashed mindless drone. Don't mind him. After all you are posting on forum where 90% of posters are like him. No critical thinking, just believing media without any proof.

If this was a Tom Clancy novel then there would be a plot twist about now, like he was actually a triple agent working for Russia the whole time and his daughter had travelled to the UK to collect British nerve agents from him that he had stolen from the nearby Porton Down facility but something went wrong, that's why the UK authorities are keeping quiet on the agent involved.

    Lols.

This guy has a terrifically nutty obsession with MSM - whatever that means. Because it used to mean news and information, but now, at least for him, it means a biased source that disagrees with my ignorance. He's fun.

I do love that the Trumpinistas/Ruskies ignore the fact that the guy was attacked with a nerve agent, and the British are (rightly) freaking out. Probably no tracks to lead back to anyone though.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

It's polonium. Putin is more knowledgeable than you so he wouldn't make such a mistake.

Perhaps, but then again I'm on pain pills right now so I have an excuse!
