Trump's long-time personal assistant was escorted from the White House this morning, leaving behind even his jacket, because of an ongoing investigation by DHS into financial crimes. And Trump hired him right back on his campaign staff.

It is most likely the one that he hears on r/The_Donald, Alex Jones, Breitbart, /pol/, etc. You know the ones that aren't grounded in reality.
No offense, if you are not looking for something you will not find it. The Republican House led investigation didn't even bother questioning many of the major players involved. It was quite clear there was no real attempt to take this serious by the GOP members. Unlike every investigation after investigation into Hilary and Benghazi that no matter how much zeal was involved, nothing could be found. Now imagine if they put as much effort into finding out what actually happened during the campaign as the did with Benghazi.
The Dems on the committee only wanted it it 1, to be taken seriously and 2, the facts to be presented. Both things Nunes wanted no part in.
