The Left for sure has plenty of Fake News, in fact there was plenty of it during the Bush era but back then we just called it conspiracy theory instead of "Fake News"

Oh also the anti-vaccine movement and "alternative medicine" movement, which is almost entirely left wing, is also "fake news"

Oh the irony. But what about "my body my choice". Freedom means to have a say over your own entity, right? Also if you're heavily vaccinated with mental issues then why do you care if I get shots?
Oh sweety, you should be the last person chiding others on being uneducated based on your history of posting utterly inane conservative rubbish including right here since you clearly have no clue as to what you're talking about . How about you leave the topics about medicine to those who are well-versed on it and stick to your usual shtick of blind conservative denialism and rabid anti anything left?

In fact I'm more than happy and willing to educate you on how those evil autism-causing vaccines actually work if you send me a message.

I can't tell if this is sarcastic, so let me know, because if it isn't, the situation is that the anti-vaccine movement is more (far)right wing than left(center-right).

I don't fear them, I fear the retards that believe the bullshit that he spews. Because those retards are why Infowars is going to lose this court case. Freedom of Speech doesn't save you from defamation, libel and slander laws. Which is exactly what Alex Jones and others have done against the guy that is suing them. There is no hypocrisy here, despite the bullshit you are trying to spew. And EVERYONE should want net neutrality. As we have seen, companies are already looking into ways to nickel and dime people into paying for things they already have now.

    Yep, considering Trump is anti-vaccine.

Believe someone is suing Fox News also. Apparently the parents of Seth Rich have filed a lawsuit against Fox News according to the TheHill.com. Make me wonder if someone in the background is bankrolling these lawsuits similar to what Thiell did with Hogan against Gawker.

Good. The suit is absolutely true and should shut them down. They aren't journalists, they are a propaganda machine that doesn't have an ounce of truth behind them.

The conspiracy theorists are being sued because of the bullshit that is in bold right there. Saying that the guy suing Infowars, Gateway Pundit, Allen West, and the RT reporter, all spread lies about him after the video he posted from the "Unite the Right" hate rally.

Is this going to be the suit that finally makes Youtube remove Alex Jones? Here's to hoping it does.
CNN and BBC and the CIA are conspiracy theorists, accusing Russia of poisoning spies and accusing Assad of using Sarin. Oh and Saddam WMDs.

Slander and defamation is the best they can use for such a case. Outside of that, simple free speech. There is no law stating one cannot spout conspiracies.

You tube can ban him, but winning a law suit for what exactly? Larry Flint says hi BTW.

Bullshit , it is very easy to kill a person with one punch. Especially if you know how. It happens by accident quite a lot. A well placed punch to the temple , to the nose or the throat can end a life as fast as a bullet. You can even stop a persons heart with a punch to the chest.

Wrong they do have a case, when you assign yourself as a journalist, and you fabricate bullshit and establish an entire website dedicated to weaponizing disinformation, you for sure have a case, especially when that website is responsible for the damages it purposely reports intentionally without any evidence or made up.

Alex Jones should not be removed, he should be demonetized. This has already happened. You can say pretty much anything on YouTube but to make money from it you should be able to verify what you are saying. Alex Jones would obviously have some issues doing that.

As of now I think only the most obvious hate-speech and pornography will get you banned. You have contributors dedicated to telling parents not to vaccinate their kids so Jones should be fine.

He isn't suing for "fake news", he is suing for defamation. "Fake news" is not a legal cause of action.

Defamation is hard to prove but that's about it. "Fake news" not happening.

    When?

Was this before his custody hearing for his kids, or after? Not that it matters because as soon as he admitted it, he spent hours upon hours trying to deny it later.

Everyone knows tap water is turning the frogs gay, so it isn't fake news. That's why I need everyone here to go to infowars.com and buy horse juice. It's 100% ground up horse. No GMO's.

Alternately you could stop using a the label for anything you disagree with.

Anti-vaxxers are fools and they're dangerous for society. They are not fake news, and some right-wing fool coming along and making stupid analogies is even further from what fake news is.

Also, regarding your previous comment that anti-vaxxers are "primarily left wing," that is false. The spread of those who believe it is safe or unsafe is rather even. It's actually age that is the best predictor.

And when the get to the question of whether or not vaccinations should be required, it's Republicans that balk:

    NBC News
Republicans and independents are more likely than Democrats to advocate against required vaccinations.

Thirty-four percent of Republicans and 33 percent of independents told pollsters that parents should be able to decide about vaccinations, versus just 22 percent of Democrats who said the same.
The fact that some of the loudest anti-vaxxers are liberals doesn't make it a valid data point on anything other than the loudness of particular anti-vaxxers.

Disagree completely. While the US protects free speech very highly, one thing it does not protect is when you knowingly lie about people, or say something so obviously false that you should have known it was a lie. These sites slandered the hell out this guy with facts literally invented from whole cloth and the abuse he suffered was an easily-predicted consequence of that slander. I'd say he has quite a good case.

Unfortunately, we'll likely never know. The amount of money he's asking for is so small that they're going to settle even if they think they're right.

Sorry, but Assad did use chemical weapons on civilians. And the airport they flew it out of, had Russians stationed there, and since Assad is propped up by Putin's help, then yes Russia is poisoning Syrian refugees.

The rest of your post is bullshit, just like your namesake.

Larry Flint won a lawsuit for making a joke about Jerry Falwell. Alex Jones isn't making jokes, he is trying to be serious to his gullible fanbase. It will be just like that gay couple from Colorado, where the cake couple didn't bake them a cake and then doxxed them and and their followers harassed them and sent them death threats. Just like Jones' followers have been doing. It will be an easy win.

You haven't been paying attention lately have you? Alex Jones has 2 strikes, he is really close to being removed from Youtube. He is going to be removed if he keeps going on their path.
