ArtOffLoop (Heart of Azeroth animation) Theory

So I was looking at the ArtOffLoop animation in WoWHead. For those who don't know, the ArtOffLoop animation is actually the animation when you're holding your Heart of Azeroth neck piece when you're upgrading or looking at it. And what I notice is that this animation should only be on playable races. Because it doesn't make sense to give this kind of animation to a NPC race, unless they're going to be a ally race.

So I check it out by seeing every playable races that may have this animation. And sure enough all of them have it. The only ones that don't have this yet is the Zandalari Trolls (but the Jungle Trolls do have it) and the male Nightborne. So Blizz haven't gotten to them yet.

Then I check out the other races that may have it like Kul'Trian, Vulpera, and others that's not announce yet. And the results will shock you! Seems that Kul'Trian, Vulpera, AND THIN HUMANS have this animation.

So Thin/Utopian Human maybe the next Alliance's ally race along with Kul'trians. While Horde gets Vulperas for sure.

I try the other (Vrykul, Broken, Naga, etc..) and none of them have it. Gilnean human have this animation, but they're just the human form to Worgens, don't count.

Vulpera share a skeleton with Goblins, so it's probably not a stretch to just make it apply to all models that share that skeleton. Same for the Kul'Tirans, although I can't make out what skeleton they've been given.

So in all, not an indicator of what races may become Allied races.

Holy shit thin humans look unnerving.

Pretty sure thin humans only have it because they share animations with female undead.

If that was true then why the male nightborne don't have this yet while the male night elves have it? Just because they share a skeleton doesn't mean they get the same animations. Vulpera don't have any Monk animations, yet Goblins have all the monk animations but can't even be monks themselves.

And I check out the Fel orcs, Brokens, Forest Troll, and other NPC's that share the same skeletons and none of them have this animation nor other playable animations.

The Thinhumans use the Forsaken Female rigging, so it's no surprise the animation would carry over.

Kul'Tirans use a unique rigging. This is evidence of them being a PC race.
When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like injustice.

Incorrect. Vulpera and Goblin rigging is significantly different looking for that animation in particular, with even the tail moving.

Kul Tirans use a completely unique skeleton.

The fact you could use that animation for any number of different things kind of dampens the Theory.

Could it be correct? sure. Will it be? Maybe.

Thin Human is literally Undead Female so nothing to see there.

Vulpera... Well... Is anyone doubting them being an Allied Race eventually?

Kul'trian humans are almost confirmed and you'll probably be able to change to thin or fat in barber shop just like orcs can get straight and hunched

Except this animation is customized for every race.

Then it would be under "WA" with the other new animations like those you mention.

Holding basically anything? Do you know how many different things in game use the "ChannelCastOmni" Animation?

All I'm saying is it looks like Alliance are getting Thin Humans. Make more sense then giving them Sethrak just because Horde is getting Vulperas. And What so wrong about the Thin/Utopian humans anyways? I don't mind them.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with them or that you were wrong in thinking they might get Thin Humans. I'm simply trying to say don't overhype yourself with it because of a single animation that could be used for many things.

Thin humans are to humans as straight-backed orcs are to orcs. You read it here first.

Also, I have a theory that may or may not take off in its own thread.

Given that we are now 99% sure of kul tirans being allied (mentioned in the Q&A), but they don't have a "known" body double (like vulpera for goblins or Nightborne for night elves), they could be what will lead us to finally getting Ogres on Horde. Somebody else posted a similar thread a few days ago showing how kul tiran females could be the early look at ogre females for a future expansion.

Look at it this way: Allied races appear to be, as of this moment, reused assets that have been switched around and stitched back together to make something new. Sethrak use worgen skeletons, thin humans use female undead, etc.

Agreed. I believe it will be the same idea we're seeing for orcs now. Not sure what they'd call it, though, since for orcs it's "posture." "DIet" seems a bit controversial, but body mass seems too real-world. If that makes sense.

I'm like 90% sure though that is what it ends up being so nobody can say horde got something Alliance couldn't (I guess, they could give us hunched humans.... Okay, I'm lobbying for that now. I want to play my quasimoto rogue!)
