....what part of that statement was sexist? Fuck me, now we can't call females hot? Or we can't call them girls? Or we can't call them hot girls?

I'm not a fan of Jolie, but I definitely think she fit the persona better.
Yeah, if I had to choose it would be early 2000s Jolie.
No, you can’t. It’s objectification of women.
When you say a woman is hot, you’re judging her by her looks, which is objectification by itself .
Also, you are not allowed to say compliments, it’s also objectification.
Which brings us to the message which was sent with main actress being not quite attractive or over sexualized.
Can't stand Jolie but indeed in 2001 she was hottest Croft, though annoying n plastic..
Alicia Vikander was good in this movie, but she wasnt my Lara Croft. I do want to see her in more movies though, hopefully people see she has potential. Just she wasnt Lara Croft to me, she has a funny shaped head and I know its nitpicking but throughourt the movie I couldnt keep my eyes off her weird head shape :P
I still think Camilla Luddington would have been a better Lara Croft for reboot Lara. Was never fond of this casting Alicia Vikander. But it is what it is I guess.
Movie was okay though, I enjoyed it. Then again I enjoyed the Warcraft movie to, so you know where my standards are lol.

I love Warcraft, I dislike WoW
Unsubbed since January 2021, now a Warcraft fan from a distance
They can mean whatever the feth they prefer in hollywood, but Oscar as an award means close to nothing as far as quality of movie or acting go.
So your pointing out this DFC Mcweirdhead has Oscar is quite a weak of an arguement.
I will notice you when I will be laconic, fret not.
Are we having a contest over who has the last word?
Why didn't you properly inform me about such a joust?
But please do continue with cute passive-agressive bits, it is mildly amusing at this point.
I am not trying, I am stating: Oscar means square root of feth all, at least 2 last Oscars.
As long as masterpieces such as Moonlight win over trash like LaLaLand, it is nigh impossible to take Oscar seriously.
So, in conclusion, I refuse to have a sexual intercourse with a duck, thank you.
Just came back from watching it, it was a good movie however I really don't like how they've gone away with most of the paranormal shit that was in the game like how Himiko had legitimate paranormal abilities, her stormguard and the crew from the game. I guess my expections were a slight bit too high from having played the game but it was still worth the ticket price.
