They still had the faction conflict on IoT in 5.2. (There even were pvp dailies). It was after that they stopped the faction conflict.

So they very easily could have faction conflict even if we are fighting a threat as large as Azshara.

I think people expecting the faction conflict to be null and void before the expansion ends is in for a surprise. This isn't just a small skirmish, this is the start of a huge war between Horde and Alliance.

you mean the war that has been going on for almost 30 years in real life that mostly everybody thinks needs to finally move on despite blizzard refusing to let go of an outdated and run down story even though it would greatly improve the game mechanically?

Literally the only reason the Horde and Alliance are still at eachother's throats is because Blizzard is constantly like "oh yeah, I guess we made these guys enemies, huh?" and makes a boring, short story about that said war despite the fact that there's a bigger underlying story that will just ultimately unite both factions again like in every other story, including the games where the war shined the most in (the RTS games)

Besides, there's no need to keep kidding ourselves that there's more of a faction theme to this expansion than others that will last the entire expansion, especially if the rumors that Tyrande torched Teldrassil herself is true.

Open the bn.net app and click the region/account bar. If the alpha client is there, well, then you've got it! Email or no email.

I don't think i ever got one, either. Emails are a pretty poor indicator, they often send them delayed or not at all.

Best way to check is to see whether your b.net account had a WoW alpha added recently, either through the dropdown in the launcher or on the account site.

When i received my alpha I didn't get an email until a day later.

And when i received the legion alpha I didn't even get an email. So remember to always check the launcher.
