Well if it is, then your argument sucked since you got most of them wrong. If anything, it reminded me why I love Legion even more.

AP- while I agree it is mind numbing, there is always some mind numbing aspect to every expansion

    Questing - It was fine

Gearing UP - no problem with a half decent guild

LFR - has always been a joke, nothing new here

Argus - By far one of the best parts of the expansion

Legendary's were not suppose to be easy to get, thats why its called legendary

WQ - are fine, they are meant to help you build up alts and other characters

Class Design - Is never perfect, but overall I think they did a good job with most classes

Summary for me - Legion was the best expansion to date
I found the shit taste in story in media in general guy.

I bet you also like Twilight.

I couldn't stand Legion until flying was unlocked because of its fuckawful map design. Tiny, cramped corridors everywhere, taking away the sandbox feel entirely and making the railroading from point A to point B super obvious. Terrible world map that didn't make quest locations obvious (looking at you, Highmountain). Trash density reached new heights and unless you were a tank, everything and its mom dazed you too. Suramar was cancer gameplay-wise, even though the art and story were awesome. I found the overworld so tedious that I made Druid my main just to use its travel perks. Legion felt the least MMO like of all expansions, and the most like a bad singleplayer RPG.

Another issue in Legion was mount collecting. There were not many added to begin with. Then the RNG on top of RNG plague hit mounts and the majority had to be ground out through WQs. Like everything else in the game. Half the fun of mount farming was doing things you wouldn't usually do. There are exceptions, like the awesome hidden jellyfish/unicorn and the Timewalking mounts, but this time they were the exception and not the rule. Back in the day if you farmed to Exalted with a rep, you got a mount. Now they have the BALLS to make you farm 10k after the 21k...for a chance?! No. Fuck that. They did seem to learn their lesson with the new Talbuks being an old-fashioned reward, but Legion launch left a bad taste in my mouth.

And for anyone saying "Vanilla made you trind your balls off too", yes it did but the rewards felt worth it. For example, Id rather grind the Winterspring Frostsaber for 6 months than do the WQ grind for the Valrajar drake because the Frostsaber may have taken a long time, but it was guaranteed at the end. Tying rep grinding to RNG feels terrible.

I honestly just did not enjoy the setting that much. Way too much grinding too. Made my #2 worst xpak after WoD.

    So much salt everywhere.

    I’ve been playing since TBC.

Legion is the worst expansion followed by WoD.

WoD made a lot of bad changes that were unpopular with everyone but the devs. Legion has all of those and it’s own flaws. I can’t think of a single system that’s better in legion than WoD.

Honestly I liked WoD more than Cata, atleast visually. Cata was dull but I really loved Draenor and the different orc tribes. Alot of work went into those zones and the general art of the expansion.

It's so nice seeing MoP getting much more appreciation these days

If you like it then you like it. That's what matters.

The zones were pretty and interesting to level in for me, art was good and the initial ebb and flow was ok. Hell WoD had Blackrock Foundry which I still consider one of my top 3 raids.

However the story was awful. It literally dumped on some of the most iconic characters like Grom and Doomhammer. The redemption BS for Grom was literally barebones, Ogrim had zero development, Kargath was barely known, Ner'zhul was a pitiful dungeon boss and so on. Kilrogg literally had no major role until 6.2 because they couldn't figure out what to do with him or most of the Warlords.

I just think 2 major patches and very debatable if 6.1 is a major patch was not acceptable by Blizzards standards. The quality of 6.1 especially was not what I know Blizzard for.

For me WoD does have it's good points but they are overshadowed by the bad points.

I only started in WoTLK, so for me its:

WoTLK: Had the best memories here. I was in school, had loads of free time, everything was new to me, made the best WoW friends I ever had.

Cata: It was a little repetitive and grindy, but I actually enjoyed that aspect of the game. It felt simple. It was also the point when I started to have to work, so that simplicity was exactly what I was looking for.

MoP: I'm not a fan of it. I don't get the turn around of people enjoying it. It felt so out of element and I will always have a bitter taste about daily-gate. But not because of the game design. It was because I had to serve the army by that point, and it just upset me that others who could commit to the game a lot more were far ahead in terms of progression than I could ever be. It made me realize that I just couldn't commit to MMO's anymore.

WoD: I enjoyed it at the beginning. But then garrison burnout took it's toll. Then the solution to that was... more garrisons, just on water. I actually think it had the potential to be a good expansion had Blizz not cut out development half way.

Legion: I actually didn't play during launch. I quit during WoD, and only decided to play again recently. I feel that I would've unsubbed halfway through had I joined earlier because of all the time-gating. Other than that, I feel that it's a good expansion. It's just that there's no way I can ever commit fully to a MMO ever again.

The common theme I've found, for myself, is that my enjoyment of the game tends to revolve around the stage where I am at in my personal life. Also, I don't enjoy WoW over long periods of time. I'll play for a couple of months, unsub, find other things to do, and then come back when something peaks my interest. There are various game design choices that can influence my decision (e.g. flying, dailies, garrisons etc..), but I think that the player base needs to become more aware that there are personal factors that affect/influence your decision on your enjoyability of an expansion.

I had a similar feeling when questing. The map design is horrible in legion. It felt like it was rushed, or maybe just blatantly designed to waste your time navigating through all that crap. I had an enjoyable time questing in WoD, so playing through legions horribly designed questing areas was a pain in the ass.

Sounds like how the Legion's homeworld is supposed to for invaders. Fyi, get a barding, swap into tank spec, get prydaz, learn how to strafe. Any of these can fix your daze problem.
The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.

Stating " is the worst " with no data nor proof is not even retrospective, is just eating shit.

Also 90% of any usual criticism for an X-Pac can be easily dismissed as " subjective taste "

you cant claim one is subjective and one is not. because they are both opinions, if you want to bring in facts, to say the swizerland thing is factually not.
then we do the same for legion and say for example WoD is factually worse then legion.
