Tom Segura. Love That dude's comedy.

Bill Burr, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Greg Giraldo (RIP) probably my favorites.

Just recently found out about Nick DiPaolo, he's pretty funny too.

I don't listen to many comics, but my favorite is John Mulaney

Well Eddie Izzard is of course absolutely fabulous, but the question was about naming a single comedian and he isn't my #1!

Carlin, Izzard, Carr...... those are my top three.

I don't understand the Louis CK fandom though..... I think he is average, at best.

Bill Burr. Of the dead ones, Robin Williams.

Carlos Mencia is funny as hell, I don't care whether he stole some jokes or not.

Robin Williams' stage shows were quite wild and crazy.

Probably George Carlin. I’ve only had the chance to see a few comics live, but he was the best I’ve seen.

People accusing her have apologized. "Parallel thinking."

Bill Burr - I was shocked to learn that he's seen as some sort of messiah by MRA-people... Like, he's got a wife and a daughter, cool it with naming him your sexist icon.

Dave Chappelle - Needs no introduction, really.

Jim Carrey - Although his star as a funny man has been fading at a steady rate

Amy Schumer is about as funny as an ear infection. She also pulls the "boohoo sexists!!"-card whenever people say she's not being funny.

Chad Daniels, John Mulaney, Kathlene Madigan, Patton Oswalt, George Carlin, Robin Williams, Tom Segura. With Chad Daniels being my favorite at the moment

Did she steal jokes though? Last I heard her writers stole jokes and put them into skits on her stupid show, you don't think she actually wrote all those did you? That's not the same thing as her stealing jokes. Is she supposed to know every joke every comedian has ever said and go "wait hold up". I don't like her at all but the situation between her and say Mencia, is different. Unless something came out where she was using stolen jokes in standup then that's obviously different.

George Carlin and Dave Chappelle are rather tied up there.

Mine is Amy Schumer. She is unapologetically funny and the ultimate risk taker. I especially like her in this video, because it shows her true sense of awkward humour:
She sure is unapologetic, but more so about the life time career of stolen jokes. Especially that last Netflix special. That was brutal. Especially after crying that she isnt getting paid the same as other comedians like Hannibal Buress, despite that exact special having jokes originally written by Buress in 2008

I think you're quoting the wrong person. I have no problem with her.
