I love the leveling from 100 - 110. It's the first time I've actually really enjoyed the leveling experience. But the old leveling content is unbearably boring, Wotlk/BC content is the worst imo. I love that they made the old 1-60 zones better, but it's still far off from being enjoyable like the newer Legion/Draenor leveling experience. I honestly just wished they make dungeons a legit viable way of leveling up. Dungeons are a more social and enjoyable way of questing. Also not being able to use BG's as a viable leveling alternative has always been one of my irks with the game. I've always felt like BG's should be a legit way of leveling for those that play the game for the PvP. I just find it weird that there is only one "viable" alternative to get to the end game.

Looms, dungeon quests, questing in small zones first.

I did not find it that much harder or slower, but I've not done draenor yet. Mainly because I skipped it so many times with the 300% xp pot, that I can't bring myself to do it properly any more. But since there is no way to obtain them any more, the remaining stock's prices skyrocketed.

There are ways to level faster, as people mentioned, but I would take 10 hours of quests over 2 hours of trash grinding any day. Or fucking about with reloging.

As for general tips, stick to early zones in vanilla, avoid things that are easy to access for other faction. LK zones seem to give more XP than outland, and have better quest clustering (except for icecrown). Hyjal is way better than other alternatives, but later pandaria seems to pick up.

$59.99 for a 110. That is legitimately the fastest way.

The bonus experience give at the end of dungeons and for every objective is insane. Some dungeon rares even reward experience on par with questing.

Queue as tank or heals, near instant queues, only queue for dungeons you've not done for quest so, get 1 lvl per dungeon...

Don't get me wrong it's still boring af

Dungeons, especially after TBC, are disgustingly effective. When you hit Legion the invasions are extremely efficiently. When I hit legion on my warlock I stopped questing altogether except with invasions and I hit 110 after like 15.

Discover how Draenor is the fastest of every zone to level through.

srsly I completed the 90-100 in about 4 1/2 hours.

    Disclaimer: This requires Draenor Pathfinder.
true, except that you should do that in frostfire/shadowmoon til 92 and then quest gorgond while keep doing that, and yes, im 100% sure its faster after doing it with 15 characters. around 2 hours this way. (always used 2-3 xp pots = less than 3 hours, closer to 2). depends obviously on the class, the better the class, the closer you will be to 2 hours. my characters were all heavily undergeared.

Yeah the 4 and a half hours was me using 150% flight and half paying attention.

Technically the fastest way is to swipe your credit card and buy a boost.

Barring that is to dual box with a 110 using dungeon runs:
    • Stockades or RFC til 37,
    • Stratholm Main gate til 60
    • Ramparts til 82(save quests turn in here to push through to 83. You might have to run a couple other TBC dungeons real fast)
    • Lost city of Tol'Vir 83-90
    • Solo WoD treasures to 98(go get artifact)
    • Solo WoD treasures to 101(bonus objectives if you run out)
    • Invasions and questing to 110

If you can't dual box, then use Method-0. Youtube it.
    • Stockades or RFC til 58
    • Ramparts or Kara trash runs til 82(save quests turn in here to push through to 83. You might have to run a couple other TBC dungeons real fast)

    Is there any help ?

Pretty sure this is inaccurate after they nerfed the XP you get with a 110. You get slivers of XP when someone higher than you runs you (that is outside the level range). I tried it to see if it would help. Getting anywhere from 1/10th of a level to 1/4 (if you have quests) is definitely by far the slowest. I got more XP doing dungeon queue and getting all the bonus XP + XP from mobs.

There are obviously some extreme ways to maximise levering speed. The best ‘stabdard’ method would just be to quest in areas where you know so that you can speed through it, and try so every dungeon once for the dungeon quests. Wear as many heirlooms as you can too.

  15. #55
I don't know if it will help, but make all the characters first and then start them one by one, so they can all get the "Rested" XP bonus. On my third alt, from 103 to 110 the Rested lasted literally forever. I don't know if there is a cap even, but I did leave her to AFK in Stormwind for a very long time. Hope it can speed up things a bit.

    Tbh, its really their fault.
For making 1-109 a meaningless boring chore.
With super boring combat and mute walls of text no one reads.

The fact that WoW's combat is super boring (excluding maybe a couple classes) plays a huge role too.
WoW should really take a look at other games' combat and move on from 2004.
Repeating a rotation, and playing "proc" wack-a-mole is no longer fun.
Lets stop "playing the UI" and "play the fight" instead.

As a healer I just spam dungeons. With basically instant queues it seems to be the fastest method.

I'm sorry you feel that way. But I have no reason to lie about it.

So far Method-0 (using a 110 to boost yourself through dungeons) is still hands down the fastest method barring dual box. While questing+random dungeons all the way up to WoD has been the slowest, DESPITE the bonus exp for randoms.

Surprisingly, after level 30 or so, straight questing is actually still faster than adding dungeons. Initially, with random queue bonus and quests, the shorter dungeons are excellent exp. But when you start getting into places like Uldaman, RFK, and worst of all: Dire Maul, the sheer length of time it takes to complete is actually less exp per hour.

This has all been tested post nerf. 7.3.5 and later. Even with the penalty for having a higher level character in the group, running yourself through the dungeons is STILL fastest.

Btw, auto correct is the devil, even when turned off.

It's by FAR cheaper to just pay for a character boost. You think everyone has $200 to drop for a monitor and $25/month for a NF sub? WoW players aren't millionaires, lol.

Which is slow compared to what it once was. Kind of the whole point of the OP.
