Interesting observation. Decent solution in my book, though it's not terribly high on my personal list of concerns. As an avid roleplayer (much more at the tabletop than in WoW tbh), my observations suggest that WoW RPers tend to do whatever the hell they want and don't worry much about what the game does/doesn't provide.

Though actually, the nightborne female has a joke about wanting to know if Tyrande is single, so I presume if you really wanted to tackle this you'd have to address that too.

I believe the majority dictate what is normal. Considering heterosexual is the mating compatible coupling that propagates the species I would assume that nature considers it normal as well. I get that there is homosexuality in nature, and in some cases it serves a purpose to the species, but from an anylitical stand point homosexuality is just a superfluous deviation in humans that neither hinder or benefit us as we are so populous that the species will propagate whether or not homosexuals procreate(artificially or with a mating partner).
