Just learned the the two items I won from the Warcraft movie auction hadn't even shipped yet even though they were supposed to be here last week. Guy says he bumped up when it needed to be shipped, so maybe they'll be here in a week.
Apparently it's the early 90's and it takes 2-4 months to get to me.

Finally got around to get a few starter decks from the Final Fantasy TCG and it's alright. The resource system is a wonder, as it actually costs you resources to play the resources, which is the weirdest thing, but after that the game is simple and a bit of fun.

Yeah. Definitely not perfect, head is kind of a weird shape/perspective, muzzle pokes out in a weird way, and the eyes are still a bit too big with also weird perspective. But what I do like is how it's a more realistic style (as opposed to the exaggerated style the show uses to avoid uncanny valley in motion). More realistic style art of them is RARE, and I've never found anything in searches. If you do a search for realistic style art, all you ever find is people either 1) photoshopping their colors onto horses, or 2) just drawing horses, and going herp derp. WTF. The whole point of the show is that they DON'T look like horses. If they did it wouldn't be any good. It's a different world where (apparently) primates never evolved, and life is different due to magic. They are effectively alien beings with some (vaguely) equinoid characteristics. The analogy I like making is, calling them horses is actually worse than saying Klingons and Vulcans are human. Originally Posted by Dontrike
