Wow, this is really a wake up call. Instead of clicking the crystals and chatting with the guy for 20 minutes I should have had him committed. Coming back to the issue, yes, farming crystals for the hippogryph is a lot of busywork. You should really make up your mind. Once you exaggerate the process to say how great the person was, and then you downplay the whole process to prove that he has no mental problems. Had you actually earned the mount yourself, and not exploited some poor person with issues to get it handed to you, maybe you would know that it's not something that can be done "accidentally while farming herbs".

Let me put it this way, and hopefully give some food for thought for your little brain:

If a person wants to work for a company for free, instead of working for a wage, because it makes them feel good - is it moral to let them? No it's not. It's taking advantage over people with potential mental problems or just little quirks.

It isn't hours a day. There's a pattern. A very clear one. Level 100 trial characters can fly in Broken Isles meaning that dead servers (foreign language RP servers work best) can be scouted easily and all the crystal spawn points are known. There are people who sell the positions too.

People have managed to figure out the exact spawn pattern of Void Talon portals in WoD too, so it's less no-life and more patterns and timings for the respawn.

If you have any second to spend on giving someone a mount in a game, there is something wrong with your life.
