If anyone is having issues with the app not being able to launch the PTR client, make a copy of WowT.exe and name it WowT-64.exe. I think they might have forgotten to tell the app the separate 64 bit executable is gone now.

This is for people that aren't able to launch it via the app, the stuff you mention will require a serverside fix or even a patch in the worst case.

Yeah it doesn't let me launch it via the app doing it the way you listed, should I delete the wowT when I create a WowT-64.exe?

I can only launch it via the .exe in the public test folder...which is where it dc's me, since I can't launch it via the launcher.

Leave the original .exe, but it seems that they might have just shipped a fix for this issue. Restarting the Battle.net client should be enough to pick it up.

Well this Q&A just confirmed BFA will flop like WoD. Different reasons but outcome will be the same.
