At 72 on the same temperature scale as I used, you'd be dead.

Yeah, the humidity there gets nasty. A bunch of the state was a marsh before field tiles.

    edit: wow, spelling.

So basically Kelvin and Celsius are mass murderers, while Fahrenheit is a good guy.

you can survive 100C + in saunas for a few minutes, maximum is about 160C, it's all about the humidity, because 160C in an oven for a few minutes will burn you badly.

    India and Dubai

India for the heat and humidity that can kill.

Dubai for the days that get up to 45-50*celcius

Europe in the last 20 years just keeps getting hotter every summer.

Installing solar panels in Palm Desert during a heatwave in 2014. We used this special goo called Geocel to smear on any holes or openings to plug them up. It's real sticky and gooey and hardens over time.

Not in Palm Desert at 120 degrees Fahrenheit though. That stuff just melted off the roof in slow streams, as if dozens of large, invisible snails were making an escape off the roof. I started getting dizzy and out of it; It felt like the heat was making my brain sizzle. We got it done though, and I only had to spend a week or so in the hospital.

    Just kidding about the hospital.

    Highest I can remember was hiking the Mojave in 118 F / 48 C

However hottest heat index was Las Vegas. There was a freak rainstorm 2 days before and the temperature was 109 F with 40% humidity.

Can get way over 40C, and what's worse is not only is the air temperature really high - the solar radiation and ultra violet are way higher than what you get in the US mainland.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

the bare sun literally (and i mean literally) fried the skin off my nose.

    the hotel was beautiful tho.
It was probably either Hurghada or Sharm el Sheik I've been to Hurghada once for holiday

Utterly oppressive, but worth it to see Persepolis.

And apparently bloody Glasgow... it was 31 degrees today.
Iran is in my dream list for traveling. Never been, and sooo much beauty to see and history.

    Hopefully one day.

    Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Somewhere around 40C. I don't complain about heat normally but that was a bit much.

Laredo Texas when it was 112F. I rolled my windows up and just sat there sweating for a half hour. It's not something I ever got to experience in the state of NY really. I'm one of those people that actually enjoys how I feel after sweating a bucket load.

Probably Fallujah/Ramadi Iraq. 110-115F, felt like 150 in those blue porta-shitters. God those were terrible to use.
And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed with him. And there was given unto them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

Like every other temperature it was recorded in SHADE.

Staying on the sun in BDU's is another story completely.

But what do I know. Continue to kneel.
