You can just ask if they want spoilers or not - depending on if they care and are going to play at all.

If you knew the candle was fire then the meal was cooked a long time ago.
Say what you will, but this is what made the game magic for me back in the day, the simplicity and the deadliness of somewhat mundane things. Say what you will, but I liked hard quests which you had to have a group to do, remember Myzrael(spelling?) in Arathi Highlands? Looking for the Defias messenger through the Westfall road, everything adds to the Vanilla experience.
If I personally know them, sure.
I occasionally do it when talking about it on here, but I don't go out of my way to. Only really during the discussions of how "amazing" Vanilla used to be.
Not about actual story or exploration spoilers, but more about what to expect from the gameplay itself.
Nope. But I'll move far back before they do something that will get them killed
RETH
Ahahahah so much win this one. Was victim of that myself back in the days during my first MC raid. Was funny actually.
I am not sure if I'll give any warnings as many of these I do not remember myself, and at times it's funny to see others get stomped like that or be a victim yourself. Part of knowing the game.
I don't spoil movies or books for anyone, why would I spoil their game?
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
Nope - they signed up for it.
Remember kiddies, hope was the last evil in Pandora's box.
ive told a few friends about the joys of grinding for copper and silver. they were like 'you mean gold'. i was like 'nooooope'.
Yeah I told my friends about all the inconveniences that vanilla has compared to live but they are willing to give it a shot.
Its a different game than current Legion.
"Warn them"? I suppose it depends on what you mean by "warn beginners" - I will certainly help beginners; for example when a new-to-classic player asks, "How do I get the key to BRD?" I will helpfully tell them, "Take all your clothes off and jump in the lava." After which I would helpfully remind them, "Make sure you land somewhere near Lothos - otherwise rezzing is a royal pain."
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)
