Purchase Specific Legendary Items in BfA Pre-Patch

With the Battle for Azeroth pre-patch, you’ll notice that the vendor who sold tokens that granted a random Legion Legendary item will now allow you to purchase specific Legion Legendaries relevant to your specialization. These are sold for the same cost that the token was sold for previously.

Battle for Azeroth is just around the corner, so we wanted to take this opportunity to allow players who are trying to complete their Legendary collections a more straightforward way to do so, as well as give or new or returning players a way to pick up some strong items to prepare for leveling.

These items can be purchased from Arcanomancer Vridiel in Dalaran for 1000 Wakening Essence. To help with this, many sources of Artifact Power will now grant Wakening Essences instead. Enjoy!

nope i recently stopped playing but i have every raid cleared before the next since TotGC with every cutting edge.

And instead of 'RNG' whines we would have 'GRIND' (if it would take months) or 'NOTHING TO DO' (if it would take weeks) whines ;P

I wonder if it will continue in BfA. I would love to complete my collection or use it for stuff like timewalking (since timewalking 'reduce' your level, it should be usable, right?).

Well... At least grinding for artifact would make much more sense than getting it through RNG.

They should let you equip all the legendaries you have, and just go crazy for 6 levels. That's what i think.

Nice, makes prepping for leveling more convenient. And it's a bit more exciting than making all of the old AP sources give gold/vendor trash items.

Neat! I've been asking for something like this. Hopefully the currency exchanges aren't prohibitive, I don't want to grind 8 trillion AP to buy one legendary for the collection.

They work up to passing level 115. Therein, the effects are active from level 101-115.
