    When does BFA really launch?

It seems like the lines have become blurred as more and more content is being pushed back to post-launch. Which then begs the question: when is this expansion really fully launching? With the Azerite system in shambles, class changes being pushed back, a lack of dedicated 120 zone, along with all the standard delayed launch content (like raids, flight, etc) when are we going to receive the complete BFA expansion?

Why are we paying 100% of the price for 50% of the quality?

What are we missing compared to Legion?

Suramar was Legions max level zone, the questline there was rep gated and I believe war campaign is going to be similar to that.

Legion also had class changes that were complained about in beta (retridin) and ended up on live servers as well, this time they at least acknowledged that things were missing and they'd be resolved before the first raid tier.

Legendaries were an absolute mess in the beginning of Legion, they were hard to get and had a soft cap at 3 legendaries, meaning you could have your mains dps/hps gimped over rng. People complained about them relying too much on rng, now we got a system that won't fuck you over with rng (no tf, traits are set and not generated on the azerite items).

On top of that we've got Island expeditions and War fronts, which should at least help in filling the void left by awesome class campaigns.

Not sure what war campaign is going to be about (only traveled to Alliance zones and set up camps, left it at that over the fear of spoiling content and getting bored of doing it again) but I hope it will drive the storyline like Suramar did. Let's just see how the expansion actually kicks off before nailing it on a cross, yeah?

Just lower your expectations for BfA and you most likely won't be too disappointed. It's a low-key expansion with low-key features and a significant lack of game design.

It's all the same as with WoD back in 2014, the similarities to the WoD launch and first months are frightening to be honest, but we will see. At least we know the expansion after BfA will be full of features and nice things.

There will be nothing to do, you should just unsub until 9.0

"no 120 zone" what are you talking about? We get the other factions 3 areas at 120.

Which brings us to a total of 6 zones. Nevertheless the opposing zones do not offer as much content as Legion's zones that were "open" for everyone. And OP is right, there is no exclusive zone for max level like it was in Legion. The opposing factions might be new but they don't become max level zones by that regard.

Can't we just put all your "concerns" in a mega thread?

I'm among the first to criticize the expansion's short comings but you are just off the charts.

you can hit 120 with warmode about halfway through the 2nd zone, there is a ton of content in those zones and zandalar, while vertical and scary to lazy casuals who aren't smart enough to use a glider, might be one of the better zones in wow history

the lack of a suramar is great, you want quests to do at 120 when you're not trying to get ready to raid or pvp, you don't want important things gated behind a zone you have to quest through at 120, that's not what wow has ever been about

You get a whole continent dedicated for 120.

OP writes a post bitching about some facet of the game, never comes back to post.

I think the OP needs a new hobby.
