The debate itself wasn't very good. Michelle Goldberg spouted a bunch of lies that are easily refuted, and when called out on them she said "google it"(having flashbacks of Cenk Uygar telling an audience to google it). Dyson's whole shtick is race baiting. He calls Peterson an "angry white man" for example. Which may be true in some instances, but it's a bullshit thing to say in a debate. He even got blow back from the audience for it.

They're all fairly smart, but the pro-PC side definitely used some shady tactics to try and win.

I didn't need to reframe anything. You whined in your original comment to me that there isn't enough incentive to denounce Nazis these days. Again, most people are against Nazis because it's the right and decent thing to do. You apparently don't see it that way and instead only see it as a way to get praise. The “he is a commedian is he not” is talking about not being a good debater. Everyone can have opinions that can be well thouht out and be able to convey them to people, but when it comes to debating, that is a whole nother thing. Deconstructing a persons statements in real time and making counters to such takes a far different skillset.
