Looks horrible tbh. I hoped they remove her healing stuff and just make her another AA with CC. Would be a much better fit than two lvl >10 talents and one ability to make you kinda work in your role.
Reddit doesn't look too happy either.
Aww, man. I really like current Tyrande with all the stacking quests.
That looks god awful. Tyrande and Tassadar are possibly furthest away from the 'hero fantasy' created in the games that spawned them. Turning her into a questionable healer without bite was the worst expected outcome and - tada - it happened.
To me this looks like a precursor to the upcoming role overhaul. Azmodan was made more mage than pusher recently as well. I fully expect to see a Tassadar rework in the near future that focuses him more on damage than support.
Well, I noticed that they changed short hero descriptions (no idea when). Each description include role keyword - tank, bruiser, assassin, mage, healer, support, unconventional (abathur, murky and TLV). Didn't check all, but Azmo is classified as mage (and Thrall as bruiser).
Blizzard have straight up said they are giving up the idea of specialist. Specialists are done, there's not gonna be anymore, and when the role revamp rolls out, the ones we have are gonna be moved into other roles. Most of their descriptions have already maid it clear specialists aren't really a thing anymore. Azmo and Zeebo are labelled "mages". Sylvanas is described as an Assassin(complete with the capital a), Medivh as a Support. Hammer is described as a "high physical damage dealer". The only ones I can see giving them difficulties in regards to role moving are Vikings and maybe Abathur(though he could be moved into the "support" role, supposedly supports are going to be divided between "healer" and "support")
I hope we still get more wacky heroes in the future, it's been a while.
So playing Tyrande on PTR proved me kinda wrong - the simultaneous reset on her Q is very strong. Also the good talents moved to lower level (didn't even notice) seem to work out well. Her ult seems to be an okish escape and could be a huge turnaround/focus interrupt in teamfights. The D reset on her aura seems also strong.
Not sure how it will work out on live but it feels very strong.
