Dataminers are speculating the Direct will be next Thursday as they saw the Splatoon 2 4.0 and Switch OS 6.0 updates be rescheduled to next Thursday after they were delayed due to the Hokkaido earthquake.

You can technically play it on the Vita via remote play.

It's not the same as porting it, but still.

True and Ill likely do that, Its just me wishing the Vita was still alive is all lol. They halfassed the Secret of Mana vita port so in a way its better off not coming to it.

I do wonder if it will have a physical release but I doubt it.

Nintendo Life has gotten some info on cloud saves using Switch Online.

Whether or not Cloud Saves are supported with a game will be on the back of the box and according to their source developers must check a Yes or No check box on cloud saves to proceed with submission to Nintendo and Nintendo handles the rest.

The very first game with the text on the back of the box is Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden, which just launched today in Japan.

it makes sense as a phone game and even as a switch version but yeah, its pretty weird that its coming to ps4 and xbone.
