Warfronts Armor

So I'm unabashedly a double agent having high level toon on both factions (I still choose horde when pressed). So my main is a warrior on horde. Then, when I checked some xmog options for my Alliance DK, I noticed that I have some of the faction based warfronts armor already unlocked. They happen to be in the same slots that I unlocked for my warfront horde armor.

Is this a coincidental glitch, or is it designed like this on purpose? If so, that'd be super.

It is designed that way

All pvp and warfront gear is cross faction for that armor type

They've been doing that for a long time. There's several pieces of armor that are different for each faction, and if you unlock one you automatically unlock the other because that's just what it looks like for the other faction. Same armor, different skin.
