Possibly; though in my case I was intrigued to hear a voice I don't hear. One of the appeals also of these YouTubers, and Philip DeFranco touched on this in a video, is that they have a real texture to them that typical newscasters don't.

Mainly my content runs from Jimmy Dore on the Left, and any latest talks from Morris Berman, Chris Hedges, and I guess I'll find the odd Kyle Kulinski take interesting. On the Right, I've got Blonde, Lauren Southern, Mouthy Buddha, Styx, Black Pigeon Speaks and Faith Goldy. Though the Lefties I watch have way more academic and professional broadcasting success.
