I've asked Discord again and most people say it's out of date and that you only need 2 EP regardless of OP stacks.

IC is out of date but wowhead isn't.

It's better to follow the Wowhead guide over the IV guide at this point. I'm not sure why Archi hasn't updated the IV guide but the Wowhead guide is updated fairly quickly (and in this specific scenario, more accurate than the other guide).

Honestly archie has been pretty bad at actually updating his guides on a regular basis, I have personally gotten him to make updates in legion since there was so much confusion going on at the time. Only way to be sure is to check the simcraft api, which I'm pretty sure archi, or whoever is doing the sim work (marok?) Updates regularly.

Until recently guide has been updated pretty consistently. With that being said, I'm pretty sure Archi recently went on vacation for a few weeks which means updating the guides for recent changes aren't really on the top of his priority list currently. The Wowhead guide was updated to reflect on the recent EP change pretty fast, I'd imagine once he gets back he'll update the IV guide, as well as the Wowhead guide if anything else needs to be changed.


The simcraft snippet is updated for the change as well,

overpower.stack=2&talent.dreadnaught.enabled

means OP at two AND with Dreadnaught, and

|buff.executioners_preci sion.stack=2

means OR ep is at two stacks.

Top damage is a meaningless number and isn't relevant to anything.

because warrior has been a dead class for an entire expansion now

And now it's back on track.

I'd argue Warrior it's in a better position than many other classes for DF.

Prot is amazeballs rn, and while Arms & Fury damage is seen as questionable, the gameplay loop is enjoyable.

As for outdated stickies, would put that down to MMO-C's current standing.
