Brees has to be the sentimental favorite, and a chance for them to fix their past errors.

I mean I don't want him to win it because of that. I want him to win it because he is the true MVP. And right now he is exactly that. Mahomes may have more TDs and more yards but way more turnovers, lower completion percentage adds up. I mean first the Chiefs actually need to win this game for Mahomes to even be considered to leapfrog Brees for now.

No doubt he deserves to be in the conversation, he and Brees are def 1-2 in some order. Still plenty of football to go though.

I'm fairly sure that Brees won't win MVP despite how dominant his stats are compared to Mahomes. Mahomes will probably have close to 45 TD at the end of the season, but with 10-11 INT. Brees will have 35-40, with what, 2-3 INT maybe? Brees also has like a 76% completion rate, shattering his record of 72% last year. It's dumb.

Yeah not Brees fault they have like 9 more rushing TDs than the Chiefs. TD passes are not the only stat, but it is the flashiest stat (outside of wins perhaps).

I like a LITTLE bit of defense but I do like watching great offenses go at it too.
