I want to talk about this, remember the day my Mario macro stop working.... the STFU Train.

I really look forward to see what 2019 has in store for ASCII text art and the removal of GCD on trade/local/etc chat channels.

Some great threads still out there for people to go looking for examples.

What macro do you look forward to hitting in chat?

Did anyone actually test this on the test realms during Blizzcon?

I doubt that the chat system will be the 2004-2006 version. With the modern infrastructure and the modern client we're bound to get the modern chat.

The demo didn't have the chat limit that current wow has; I don't see why they would add it for Classic proper.

Unfortunately the demo did have the chat throttle.

Well, I am happy that this isnt possible. (Please..) Its fckn annoiying to get some of these in your chat, even more if multiple. Its for CHATTING, not for spamming weird symbols....

They are adding the exploitable report system to the Classic chat, I'm sure they will put the fun limiter too.

It won't be in Classic, which is unfortunate.

It's just another teeny, tiny thing that is the sum of a whole, that makes the Vanilla experience -- that will be absent from Classic.

The dial up bit is extreme. I haven't had dial-up since 1999.

However...the CRT thing is real! I may have partaken in private servers, and I admit that on my 30" screen at 2560 x 1600...it detracted from my Vanilla experience. If I had a square monitor, I'd be using it.

If it's not the 2004-2006 version, then it is likely to be a piece of shit. I'd rather not have the modern client, even if it's forced.

i really hope they can be a bit more lenient on ascii chat stuff.. that stuff was always funny and part of having fun ingame, not really hurtful or being a gameplay ruiner.
