My main for the Alliance is Kaldorei, for the Horde - Shal'dorei, so I guess they're few thousand years old. Nightborne one, claims she lived with the same guys for 10 thousand years and she's ready for some 'variety'.

How are our player characters even sane anymore?
We went from nobody boar hunters to elemental lord slayers, dragon slayers, to freaking Old God slayers in a year's time?
Christ, Vanilla would have been enough to mentally break most, and this isn't even mentioning BC forward.

TBH, I was thinking each xpac was like, at least 2 years a piece, if not more.
I was guessing Anduin was like, I dunno, 8 or so in Vanilla, when he was a little blond kid running about, and now I was guessing he was around 25ish.

Well Anduin's 18 now, and was "ambiguous boy model" in vanilla. So I dunno, maybe between 10-12 years have passed?

Yes a child inherited it, one the entire alliance trusted to do well, and therefore let him take the throne, but as we see in 8.1 the elves no longer trust that.

You're as old as you want to be, and to put some light into perspective, Prophet Valen, is at least 25000 years old. So Draenei can be old, for all you know during children's week, that Draenei orphan you have could be older than you.

I remember in one of the early Horde books when Orgrim and Durotan are taken in by the draenei for a time. They note they don't see any children, and are told they haven't had any since they arrived on Draenor. The orcs are plainly stunned by this since the draenei have been there for about 200 years. Especially since they were flirting with a draenei chick who 'looked' about their age and realized she was 10x older than them.

If my character got Dragonwrath in Cata, that would probably mean since his soul is bonded with a dragon, he became immortal from that point... but then again being immortal does not necessarily mean you don't age.

Anduin should be the age of 19, which makes the concept of the Alliance and the High King stupid. Why is this teenager the chief in command of the biggest political faction of Azeroth, who has literally zero experience on anything?
