Arkham Knight. That game is a steamy pile of shit that missed the mark on both their promises.

    1. The Arkham Knight. Devs and writers said he's a brand new character. Turns out, he was just the red Hood all along.

    2. The Joker being dead. Yea, sure, he was nothing more than a figment of Wayne's imagination, but my god. The game was more about the Joker than all the others were. It would have been nice to see the Scarecrow actually have the spotlight.

Not to mention the horrible back and forth chasing gameplay. As well as the overuse of the batmobile.

And don't get me started on the fucking sidemissions. Unlocking those were mind numbing. I actually said fuck it and quit.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter on the other hand honestly made me wonder if the creators had decided they no longer wanted to make games any more but needed a catastrophic failure in their resume to break contracts and retire.
Good thing opinions are subjective and experiences are personal, I guess. I enjoyed both of those games immensely until those parts, and it's been ~15 years since I've gone back to those games. That said, I never played Dragon Quarter.

    You can calm down now.
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored
btw: Spires of Arak = Arakkoa.

    Mass Effect: Andromeda.

If that is not considered a part of the series then I guess HOMM V. I really preferred HOMM IV than V. Can't get used to anything after that.

4 pages in and nobody said Battle for Azeroth? I am shocked.

    DLC does not count.

On topic: ME: Andromeda. The first 3 ME games are so good, some more than others, but andromeda is just... shit. To add to that, Dragon Age: 2. Origins and the new one are both way better.

Because for me it's most certainly not the worst. WoD takes that honour.

Animal Crossing: City Folk (Let's Go to the City for anyone outside of the US): The forced motion controls, the time gating for talking to villagers, THEFORCEDFUCKINGPOINTERCONTROLSFORFUCKINGMENUCONTROLFUCKTHOSEFUCKINGFUCKERS, also the inability to play on the go which wild world spoiled me on.

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass: the forced touch screen controls, the required backtracking to a central tower, boring story.

I could see how playing the game co-op with a friend may have been alright, but I didn't have anyone to play with at the time so I was stuck with the AI partner and boy was that not at all fun.
6 was just an action game that no one asked for in our survival horror, like.... beyond silly action game. THEY PUNCH A ROCK TO GET IT TO MOVE.

thank god 7 basically saved the series, not enough decent zombie game out there.

I actually enjoyed Phantom Hourglass. Spirit Tracks on the other hand was a shitty, lazy, cash grab.

Yeah even though I will most likely never actually play 7 because I am not a fan of first person games at all, I know that is just my preferences. I can still easily see that it is an amazing game that pretty much single-handedly saved the series. That said, we are about a month and a half away from the Resident Evil 2 Remake release! I am so damn excited! Not sure how I am going to survive RE2 Remake and Kingdom Hearts III both being released within a week of each other though.

Got RE 2 for free with my video card, so excited! (Was going to buy a video card and the game anyway, so that's why I say free lol)

BFA killed my drive to play the game

FF13 was difficult to get through but not the worst thing, 13-2 on the other hand I tried but... ugh... Its like they took an already terrible combat formula and made it worse.
..and so he left, with terrible power in shaking hands.

Demon's Souls. It set the foundation but the gameplay and bosses are pretty meh. Most people would say Dark Souls 2 is the worst in the series, but I would say they haven't played Demon's Souls.

Fallout 76 obviously. Pokemon Black is god damn horrible. Only Pokemon game I actively don't like, which is funny because Black 2 is my second favorite. Jak X racing is alright but obviously not what made the series great. Sly 1 is the worst, Sly 4 is actually pretty decent.

Those are my top 5 series so that's all I'll mention.

quite surprised at how many mentions for batman arkham knight. Didnt know they were so popular, good to know because they were great games and I agree knight used the batmobile way to much when you just wanna play as batman.

For me its a toss up between metal gear 4 or 5. I love the gameplay in 5 but the story is a mess because of internal drama. And 4 I just found kind of boring compared to the previous metal gear titles.

What is it about Pokemon Black/White that you dislike? I mean, it certainly isn't anything special but I don't remember anything all that different about it that would make someone hate it. Along the same vein, what is it about Black 2 that you liked? I seem to recall people being disappointed with it when it first came out. White was actually the last pokemon game I played. I still have not played anything more recent than that. Maybe one of these days I will get around to playing Sun/Moon or something.

Gothic 4 was a disaster our of the Gothic series . Only nice part was the graphic at that time, it looked nice, but the story was shit and the quests also shit.
Small note to Gothic 2 ending.. the last boss was so eazy imo 1 spell and two sword hits and dead :\

Black made the decision to include only Gen 5 Pokemon until after you beat the Elite 4. In terms of Pokemon design I think Gen 5 is the worst, which is exacerbated by that decision. I don't like any of the starters which is huge for me in Pokemon, I don't like the region that much, and I disliked the pixelated style they went with.

Black 2 on the other hand includes Pokemon from all regions and not just that, but Pokemon that would be rare in their respective regions can actually be caught early on in Black 2/White 2 like Riolu or Elekid. It also has the most extensive PVE endgame outside of Soulsilver (my favorite). I find Pokemon is at its best when you have a fully evolved team and you're fighting trainers with fully evolved teams. That's what Black 2 provides. Black 2 doesn't really fix the problems I have with Black, but it adds so many amazing things that it counterbalances it and then some.

If you are interested in getting back into Pokemon I'd say X/Y is decent. Endgame is very lacking though. Pokemon designs are cool though and Kalos is a cool region. Sun and Moon is... interesting. They try to shake up the traditional 8 gym formula, which I respect. I just don't think it works as well. The Pokemon are cool as well though, some all time favorites there like Mimikyu and Lycanroc.

Interesting. I might have to check out Black/White 2. Soul Silver is my favorite as well, well actually Heart Gold but close enough.

its worth it but like HG/SS its turning into one of the far more expensive post release games in the series so in some countries finding it cheap can be a bitch.
