What do you think would be the consequence on that platform? One among many, if i was there, it's honestly just for erotic content..
It's a pretty dumb decision considering how people have spent years liking posts which made of them a library that is expected to be kept..

Pity. Hate all the other platforms artists are suggesting... Tumblr had a nice blogging interface that one can share with others giving awareness of other likeminded artists.

Many of them migrating to Newgrounds... the UI of that site is horrendous and not mobile friendly.

Good, honestly. Tumblr was such an interesting space before it become full of porn, furry blogs and teen fanfic. I’m glad they’re taking it back to what it used to be.

I think they did a amazing job of killing their platform and within the next couple years Tumblr will shutdown.

It's the end of tumblr, that's quite simple. Nobody needs "blog" sites anymore.

Since it belongs to yahoo they will probably keep it on life support for years to come, in the end the costs for such a platform with minimal traffic left are negligible when the majority of the staff has "moved on".

I've frequented Newgrounds since near its founding in the 90s. Enjoyed the countless Flash videos produced by countless amateur animators of all genres.

I though only SJW used Tumblr, had no idea it was for porn addicts as well. Now that I think about it, it makes sense.
