What I don't think this post and a lot of people that aggressively support capitalism and lack of government raid consider is the shared feeling of human empathy and compassion for the fellow man that not living like a pack of savage apes on the plains has given us. To ignore it or even promote the idea of stepping on each other to climb higher than the person above you is borderline animalistic and I'd like to believe most people are better than that in today's age.

No, I'm not implying that aggressive socialism is the answer either. Somewhere in between two extremes is usually the right answer that the black-and-white thinkers consistently fail to realize is an option. People should be allowed to succeed without succeeding so far that their bank account is a strain on the country itself.

Except the eastern-block had nothing to do with Socialism since they were totalitarian states with very limited freedoms. Socialism is supposed to be the ultimate DEMOCRACY, where people's opinions actually matter.

The well structured and organized environment was there way before de Blasio was elected as NYC Mayor.
His "biggest achievement" is providing free internet to projects.
