If it's only 10k dollars it isn't worth the risk of getting killed by drug lords or getting arrested for having counterfeit/stolen money or something. I'd be scared of calling the person, because then I would be a witness and could potentially being killed for "knowing" the identity of the person. I'd turn it in.

How would you actually use the 10K? sure you can try spend in cash here and there but once you try spending in cash of a certain amount in stores or whatever, they will start to reject it and rather you pay with a card.
