Some bullshit expansion based on a race and a theme a vocal minority asked for, which will polarize and split the community even more, after which blizzard will "make up" for it with another "BRINGING DA WAR BACK DA WARCRAFT" expansion that'll have an excellent PR campaign and execrable implementation.

It would be really stupid for them to try to pretend Azeroth has a completely unexplored southern hemisphere at this point. Like, we have spaceships. We saw the planet from Argus. We should know what it looks like by now.

Adding previously irrelevant lands like Kul'Tiras and Zandalar or "hidden" ones like Pandaria is fine, but claiming there's an entire half of the planet nobody ever noticed would be really dumb.

But besides, isn't Pandaria technically on the southern hemisphere? What makes you all think the current world map isn't both the northern and souther hemispheres?

Not to mention we've seen the entire planet from space so

Because on multiple globes the southern and northern hemispheres are blank.

And about seeing the planet from space.. we never saw zandalar and KT on Azeroth. Blizzard has stated they make globes inaccurate or missing things on purpose. In case they ever decide to add something new or not add an already existing continent from the lore.

And in vanilla we regularly road ships that charged right though these "shrouded" and "hidden" continent-islands, too.

Blizzard's making the shit up as they go. It's ridiculous.

At least with the starter island for Pandarens, it was a moving island on the back of a turtle which could have convincingly been kept hidden from all the shipping traffic. The others? Yeah, no.

Mists of Pandaria came out September 25, 2012 but okay, sure 7 years. Still didn't answer the question. Why are you still upset over Pandas?
