They're asking if there's anything in game pointing to the possibility of another continent being somewhere on the top or bottom of the planet.

Blizz has hinted at places before. It wouldn't be far fetched to keep in mind they'd do that with a new continent.

African style environment (Zandalar is South American)
Mexican style environment
Eastern Chinese and South East Asian(India/Arabic Culture) style environment (Pandaria is west china and Japanese)

Yes, it is. In fact, it was described by a blue as a sort of "Southrend". Even parts of Kalimdor and the continent Stormwind is on are south of the equator.

Hmmm, i always considered the Maelstrom to be at the "centre" of the world (or on the equator) of Azeroth. Blizzard could add any new continent where ever they please, along with new lore explaining reasons why it was never explored/discovered. I dont think they need/should have to provide a 100% bullet proof explanation as to why or how a newly introduced continent remained a "secret". Atleast i dont think it should be a reason that prevents them from adding something new. We've swallowed some pretty bullshit lore shoe-ins, but its never really bothered me. This is their game and story they are telling, and im the audience... so ill listen and follow along until i dont want to. /end gray rant.

It would be really stupid for them to try to pretend Azeroth has a completely unexplored southern hemisphere at this point. Like, we have spaceships. We saw the planet from Argus. We should know what it looks like by now.

Adding previously irrelevant lands like Kul'Tiras and Zandalar or "hidden" ones like Pandaria is fine, but claiming there's an entire half of the planet nobody ever noticed would be really dumb.

Chronicles already stated that Kalimdor (Pre-Sundering) was merely the largest of the continents on Azeroth.
