Tyrande, as a High Priestess of Elune, using power of Elune, is not Deus ex Machina, since you know, you kind of expect priests using power of their gods in fantasy. The same goes to Anduin - he is using the Light and we've seen him doing so since MoP. They are using magic which is typical for them in a new and more powerful way then we've seen before, but it's not Deus ex Machina.

Deus ex Machina would be let's say Tyrande freezing Nathanos in time with chrono magic, since we have never seen Tyrande using temporal magic, or being shown any progression within her story arc towards such skill.
I'd argue that spontaneously expanding a power source would come under Deus Ex Machina. Using an unestablished power source is as bad as using an established one with vastly different results.
I'm not entirely sure that that's the case with Tyrande or Anduin yet, but it definitely could be.

OT: Power is kind of arbitrary in Warcraft. This isn't Dragonball with all its power level nonsense. No amount of power is going to stop you from being stabbed in the back.
